Best rock album I've heard in years. A bit Zeppelin, a bit ZZ Top, yet totally original. Killer album cover. Great live band as well. These guys can play!

I saw this band open for Turbonegro and they blew me away. The guitarist will bust out with some killer jams and then start going off on a Jimi Hendrix style solos. I really like it. Hope you do too.

Year Long Disaster's debut album will remind people of a number of different bands, but this album will grow on you in an entirely unique way. This band is full of energy and talent and it shows on about 2/3 of the tracks (like Cold Killer and It Ain't Luck). The other 1/3 are fillers, but they aren't bad by any means. Also, if you're not quite set on spending your money on this album, go ahead and catch one of Year Long Disaster's live shows because they are a whole lot of fun.

PICKED UP THIS ALBUM ON A HUNCH AND AN AMAZON RECOMMENDATION...GLAD I DID...PRETTY SOLID ROCK ALBUM THROUGHOUT...NOTHING FANCY JUST A GOOD "MEAT AND POTATOES" HARD ROCK ALBUM WITH A STRONG RETRO 70'S FEEL TO IT...A NUMBER OF INFLUENCES HERE MOST NOTABLY BEING THE VOCALIST'S APPROACH WHICH REMINDS ME OF LED ZEPPELIN AT TIMES...OTHER FAMILIARITIES BEING ZZ TOP,BUDGIE,BRAND NEW SIN ETC ETC WITH A SLIGHT "STONER" VIBE THROUGHOUT...RATING OF 4 STARS BECAUSE OF A SLIGHTLY "MURKY" RECORDING AND A COUPLE OF THE SONGS SORT OF FELT LIKE "FILLER" TO ME OTHERWISE 5 STARS....RECOMMENDED...PRETTY CHEAP ON AMAZON TOO....

Think 1980's action extravaganza. Now think Ramones. Put a beer in one hand, and a mini-chaingun in the other. Put some old Spaghetti Western on the tube, and invite some people to come over and get jiggy with it.

The music that will undoubtedly be playing in the background is on this album. Buy it. Use it. Live it. Learn it.
