The way punk should be., December 10, 2006

These guys played my benefit gig 'Punksgiving' last year and tore the place down. This disc is how they sound live and it blasts. If you are a Professionals guitar fan with Clash wit and sensibilities, buy this album and buy a couple for your buddies. They will thank you. These guys are the coolest band around - in any town. The next time they are in your neighborhood buy them a drink and thank them for bringing back the power and the glory.

Classic Style punk with modern day production quality, November 9, 2006

I recently purchased this album and I have to say I was quite pleased. Fans of the Sex Pistols and Misfits will definitely like this album, because it epitomizes the classic punk sound of the seventies and eighties, containing the speed, energy, and rawness of the period, yet surpassing such acts vocally as well as in sound and production quality. This band is great example of what punk once was at its greatest and should be today. Hopefully Shock Nagasaki's debut will usher in a new wave of classic style punk to replace the bubble-gum MTV style, watered down, pop punk that young kids sadly mistake for punk today.
