Great Neo prog worth mentioning. These guys have all the major elements of PROG rock in their music. Plus, they add awesome atmosphere. I'm not sure why Inside Out hasn't picked them up yet. They're better than a lot of bands on that label. I think they are on Baxter Studios records or something like that. Hard to find their CDs but dig and you'll find some treasure most assuredly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Galahad ever!, March 20, 2004

Wow! Talk about a fine album. If Galahad always sat smack on the fence between progressive rock and pop, they've definitely moved over to prog with this one; yet the tunes are as catchy as ever. Perhaps it's all in the packaging such as the top-notch production, extremely tight arrangements through out, biting metalloid guitars, not to mention Stu Nicholson's vocals which have never sounded so good. From the opening title track with it eerie electronics, "Belt Up" with its anthemic intro (very reminiscent of Arena's Witch Hunt), "Democracy" with its demented hypnotic beat to the dreamy "Hindsight" and the funky "Jazz Suite", this album rocks like nothing they've ever done before. If you like simple but effective progressive rock with plenty of muscle, you're in for a treat with "Year Zero". Don't let this one pass you by!

5.0 out of 5 stars Spooky, October 16, 2003

They are just doing what they want on this album. From techno trance to hard metal passing by jazz and baroque. And their lyrics are pretty simple saying they are doing whatever they want as it won't make any difference for the commercial issue of their album anyway.

I bought it for the song "Belt up" which is re-done under the title "Take a deep breath and hold on thight". But it was not the nicest song on this album. "Baroque and roll" is by far my favorite with hooo haaa as lyrics. Followed by "A deep understanding" that refers me to Jon Anderson. Followed by the two "Hindsight"

"Year Zero" song starts on an etheral mood, than becomes galactic and finnaly techno-metal.

Something different but I do enjoy that album
