As a homebrewer I have quickly learned that making a yeast starter is the absolute best way to get the beer fermenting quickly, thus minimizing the risk of infection in the wort. This kit has everything I needed to make great yeast starters. It also doesn't hurt that this is the best price I have seen for such a kit. Highly recommended as essential equipment for any homebrewer.

This kit is a decent starter if you are just getting in to culturing your own yeast, but would be SO much better with a 1 or 2 liter flask. Also, shipping was excruciatingly slow.

The yeast starter kit comes with everything needed to give your yeast a headstart before pitching, except instructions. I'm sure I can figure it out, but I was surprised that their wasn't a page included that let me know how they thought their equipment should be used.
