I have been suffering w/ occurring yeast infections for over 12yrs now. I took over the counter products like Monistat and even took the pills that my Dr. gave me and every time i did this i would end up getting a yeast infection w/in 3 months, over and over again!!!
I did a lot of research about this and came to the conclusion that i need to balance out my body the natural way and forget about these "quick fixes" or creams that just cover up the infection.
I found a site that had 3 proven cures. Two of the "cures" were books that helped you balance yeast in your body naturally and by changing your lifestyle and food choices. I chose to bypass these books and instead try the "homeopathic" way first. I figured that if the yeastrol didn't work i'd try the books.

So i followed the directions that Yestrol said to do. I won't lie to you, you have to take this twice a day for 6 MONTHS!! every day! DO NOT MISS A DAY!! do this religiously for 6 months!!! then stop it.

It worked for me. I have been off of the Yeatrol medication now for 6 months and i haven't had a yeast infection since i started the medication a year ago!

i even started taking the medication while i had yeast infection symptoms. By the 2nd week my infection was gone and by 3 months i noticed that i had no more reoccurring infections. by the 6th month i was soooo happy that i hadn't had an infection in 6 months! Now that it's been an additional 6 months and still no yeast infections i'm a FIRM BELIEVER in this stuff!!!

I have had problems with chronic yeast infections for the last seven years. This product does work, but it takes some patience. If you have systemic yeast like I do, this product will take several months to kick in fully. I've been taking the product as directed for less than two months and it is working. I used to get a yeast infection every time I even drank a glass of wine (sucks to be me because I love wine). I modified my diet, did everything I read about and after a year and a half the slightest infraction (one glass of wine or a dessert) would still cause a yeast infection. Now, after being on the yeastrol for about six weeks, I drink wine every so often and am OK. Please note, this product did not seem like it was working in the first month or so. It wasn't until after about four to five weeks that I noticed a marked difference. In fact, like the other reviewer, I believe that it will show its full effects after about three months. So you must be patient. If you have systemic candida, this will work. Also, I still limit my sugar intake and take a strong probiotic daily. I recommend anyone using this product do this also. Try multidophilus, the 12 strain formula. I would recommend continuing to take acidophilus daily after the six month course of yeastrol. Also, I love that yeastrol has no side effects. I tried taking enzymes (Candex) and they made me so violently ill I couldn't leave the house (vomiting, diarrhea and fever - felt like I was dying). I have had absolutely no side effects from the yeastrol.

I am dealing with overwhelming yeast overgrowth and can say I did not feel any better taking this product, I didn't feel any worse either though.

I used Yeasterol after extensive research online and having tried virtually every anti-yeast product out there - I was intrigued by a different approach. I know from previous reviews that it takes some time to work and must be used exactly as directed. I have done so for over 3 months and have seen no reduction in the number of severity of yeast infections and candida overgrowth. In the end, my doctor put me on a 6-week course of Diflucan which although not idea - worked. I regret having bought a 6 month supply as I know have extra which I'll never be able to use. I suspect any relief from this might be a placebo effect.

Saw regular MD twice for this yeast infection. Getting no where. Decided to check the internet and found, amoung many, this product-Yeasterol. It is the only product that has worked. It is taking a bit longer than the info I read says it will take. I have been on it for one month now and it is slowly improving. On second bottle. I plan to stay on it for the 5 months they recommend. Easy to take and taste is fine. Next to no taste. I highly recommend it to my regular MD and anyone else with yeast infection - men included. I also stopped taking all forms of sugar. That means soft drinks, alcohol, candy, fruit. And I stopped taking all forms of yeast. Yeast or candida lives or thrives on these two things. So, stop feeding what you want to get rid of. You will also loose weight doing that.

After using yeastrol my symptoms were better in about five days. I keep it on hand to use if I feel like I'm having a flare up of symptoms.

I used it for excess yeast I had as a male, and it didn't clear anything up. I would not waste my money purchasing this for its supposed medical effects.

I've suffered from a yeast infection for over a year. Used everything over the counter, which didn't work at all. Went to the doctor, who confirmed I had a yeast infection, so she wrote a prescription. Used that, and a refill, but still felt no relief. I bought this, desperate for a cure. I started using this while on the second round of prescription medicine. I quit using this after about 10 days. I finally seem to be cured of my problem, but I don't know if it just took the prescription a while to work, or if it was the Yeastrol.
