Bought these as a gift - I hadn't realized how much nicer these were than your regular mall freshwater cultured pearls. great reflection and perfectly round (to the eye anyway).

I do wish these came with some kind of paperwork... there is a bar code sticker that says AAA akoya 14k and a made in japan tag but that's it. Obviously for the price you weren't going to get a nice box but something for the recipient to know what they were getting would be nice. There was a care card and envelope though.

Also, i bought a smaller pair of these for myself and while they were equally nice, those had a made in china tag.

The pearls arrived quickly and well packaged. The have a nice shine and a slightly more champagne color than described. One of them did have a slight blemish which is on the side and hardly visible. The statement on Amazon stated these were flawless and that is why I am commenting here. Returning the pearls was an effort and the blemish hardly visible to others so I kept the earrings. It was also disappointing they did not come with a certificate as I has expected them to.

got this one as our anniversary gift from my husband, it is far beyond my satisfaction for this price.
No obvious defects, and the shine is so so pretty (maybe I am not that picky on small defects)
would definitely recommend anyone to buy this one

Just what I expected. Very pretty, good size, slight pink color. Container it came in is OK, clasps are nice but not fantastic. One pearl had a very small imperfection, but it was only noticable looking very closely at it. Besides, the slight imperfections are just part of getting real pearls.

Great product and great price, would recommend for any occasion. Fast shipping and came in a velvet draw string bag which went over well.

I ordered these Saltwater Akoya pearl earrings for my sister for Christmas. While the package was in route, she came over to show me her new Pearl necklace and earrings. I was horrified! When the earrings came, they were so beautiful, I kept them! Beautiful, shiny, excellent quality, nice setting, and I am very pleased. I have ordered her a Saltwater Akoya Pearl bracelet from Amazon. Hope she dosent have that, too! I will be dripping in pearls....

I ordered these earrings for a trip to Italy, since I was worried I might lose a really expensive pair on my trip. The pearl earrings arrived promptly and were absolutely perfect; small, beautifully cream colored, set with gold studs that won't irritate anyone's ears. A very good purchase and well worth the price!
