After ordering my necklace and earrings I was suddenly afraid that I would receive pearls that had blemishes, bad uniformity, or didn't have the nice round shape I saw in the picture. I was thrilled when I received the necklace and matching earrings. They were absolutely beautiful.

I got this set for $89.99 as a Gold Box deal. I love pearls and this set is really nice and delicate. The length of the necklace is just right, as well as the size of the studs. The product description states that the pearls are lightly blemished, but I didn't find anything faulty in my own. They look so elegant when worn... I recommend it!

No scratches, rough spots or other noticable defects. Good clasp, good earings and nice color match. They look to be very good quality and are a great deal for the price.

After reading all of the reviews I decided to purchase this set. I believe my hopes were too high. Several of the pearls have noticeable indentations in them, and one has a 1mmx1mm round flat mark in it that makes it looked squashed. So if imperfections are not going to bother you then buy this set. But if you are expecting a perfect set with little or no surface irregularities, then search for a higher quality set. Otherwise you may end up being disappointed like I am.

Got this for 89 bucks from amazon under the gold deals. I have to say that it is an excellent buy at that price. Was a gift for my wife and she loved it. The pearls are lovely and had no marks/scratches on them. The do look great. I would recommend it highly at this price.

I purchased this set for around $140. For the size, uniformity of shape, color and lustre, this set remains one of my favorite in my collection. The pearls are a cream white, great shine, and substantial looking. Be forewarned, though, you ARE getting what you paid for. Many of the pearls in the necklace are deeply pitted, although they've been strung close to the clasp (and I have long hair that covers that area of the necklace... so who cares?) Plus, the pits aren't big enough to ruin the round shape (and these are really, truely round, no oblong "cheater" pearls in this set.)

All in all, a great "starter" or "daily wear" set to have, especially if you're saving your $4,000 Mikimoto strand for special occasions.

I absolutely love, love, love these pearls. This is the fourth set of necklace and earrings that I've purchased as gifts (and for myself). They're not perfect--of course I would expect to pay much more if they were, but they are truly beautiful and a good value. I've had mine for about three years now and wear them often. You can't go wrong here!

I purchased these for $90 on a gold box deal; VERY NICE for the money. However, I did have to exchange them, as one of the pearls on the earrings was not centered or completely attached when glued. Amazon was speedy and good about the exchange. There are very minor flaws in the pearls in the necklace (none noticed in the earrings), but when wearing, aren't noticeable. Nice clasp on necklace, also, strung well. I might not have been quite as happy, if the price were much higher. I would purchase these again!

I purchased this set as a gift for my wife, after being disappointed with the Single Strand 18 Inch 7-8mm White Freshwater Cultured Pearl Necklace. Although the two necklaces cost about the same, the difference between the two is like night and day.

The necklace in this set had pearls that were all round or near-round (you really need to examine the pearls closely to see ones that don't look round), and you could tell that the best pearls are in the front, while flawed pearls are near the clasp. The color of the pearls were surprisingly consistent, and well-matched throughout the strand.

As far as flaws go, they're definitely there, and you don't need to look too hard to see them -- but again, the pearls like that were all by the clasp. Granted, this isn't very helpful if the wearer has short hair, but otherwise, nobody would know they're there.

I wasn't fortunate enough to get this when it was in the Gold Box or Lightning Deal, but at Amazon's normal price, it's still a very good value.

My only real gripe is that everything arrives in a small pouch. I would have liked a better presentation for gift giving, but for the quality you get at this price, it's hard to complain.

The pearls were lovely, and matched well. A lovely color, and with only minor imperfections. I was so happy at first and tossed all the packaging, sure I would not regret this purchase. Then, on the third time wearing the necklace the cord that threaded the pearls frayed and tore, leaving it unable to be worn, or returned. I was sorely disappointed. Perhaps it was just my item, but be aware when purchasing. I still think the pearls were a steal, and good quality, but I'm upset that I have to take it to a jeweler now to have it repaired, incurring more costs.
