This is a pretty necklace. As I expected, the chain is extremely fine. However, I've had another necklace with a chain this fine, and it's lasted for a long time, so I think the chain, even though fine, is sturdy and will hold up if you are careful with it. The star pendant has nice sparkle due to its approx. 40 teeny diamonds. Very pretty. The packaging job by Amazon was exceptional and the item arrived very well protected in lovely blue velvet box. I don't know about Amazon's individual sellers, but I DO KNOW that you can always trust the Amazon.com jewelry to be delivered fast and packaged beautifully. Thanks, Amazon, for your attention to detail and fast shipping.
