Beautiful and I haven't taken it off since getting it 6 months ago. I'm very happy with this purchase! Heart is perfect size, not to small to add a good picture and not to big either.

I searched local stores and found decent lockets in the $150 range so I ordered this one. I am very pleased with the quality. I also want to note the chain was very nice. Normally jewelry comes with lightweight cheap chains. The chain I received is good enough to stand alone as a gift.

This beautiful locket will be a Christmas present for a friend who lost both her Mom and her Dad in a 15 month period. When she places their photo in the locket, she'll be able to keep them close to her heart. I know she'll love it.

I've had this for a couple of weeks, and frankly, I'm not sure how I feel about it. The gold doesn't look quite right, almost fake-ish. I have a lot of real gold jewelry and this doesn't shine right, it looks too yellow. I love that it's made in the USA, I just don't love the quality. I wish I would have spent more money to get something I will really like. By the way, it does hold two photos.

This is a pretty and delicate heart locket. I think it will be a bit of a challenge to get a decent picture in there, but it could also be used as an aromatherapy whiffer, since it has holes in it.

I bought this for someone as a birthday gift, and hope it fits the bill.

If you have are allergic to metals besides gold or silver, do not use the chain that comes with this. I wore the chain thinking as it is plated with gold it wouldn't be an issue. My neck shortly broke out into red hives that took over two days to clear up.

My friend absolutely loves this necklace, the chain isn't skimpy and it looks more expensive than what I paid. She wears it everyday!

This is a nice locket for the price. Although its gold filled it appears to be solid, not cheaply "plated". The size is perfect! Just a little under an inch so it holds two nice sized pictures. The chain is sturdy and a good length just does not match the beauty of the locket itself. I bought a 14 kt box chain to go with it. Love this piece.

This is a really beautiful piece, and my mom loves it. I got it for her because we lost my dear grandma last year at 97. I had a small old picture of Grandma as a toddler, so I was trying to find a locket that could fit that particular picture.

So the sizing was right, but I ended up sending the picture and the locket to my mom, for her to get a jeweler to size, cut, and insert the picture. I just couldn't figure out how to put it behind the frame area. That part isn't hinged, and I was at a bit of a loss of how to open that part of it without damaging the heart.

Does anyone know, is there some kind of a trick to getting a picture behind the frame inside the heart?

When ordering this item I was unsure of how it would look in person. Needless to say once I received it I was very pleased. Although getting pictures in may be a task for some, I found it rather enjoying being able to cut pictures out and put them inside of the locket. Note* There are plastic covering over where the pictures go. Just take a needle and pop it out, as there's a area where you are able to remove the plastic. Once removed there is also a piece of paper as well. I just took the paper and put it over the face of the picture and cut out the remaining leaving only a heart shaped face that can then be inserted into the locket then place the plastic back over it and lock it in place protecting the picture from aging and becoming damaged. Overall pleased with this purchased and so is the wearer.
