Flimsy at best,

Ordered this during the "Black Friday" sale for daughter to wear her sorority pendant on. However, even given the chain's 8mm description, the chain itself proved to be extremely thin and lightweight plus the spring ring clasp was somehow defective in that it would open, with some difficulty, but in order to close it, you had to push the slider sideways back into the closure slot. Gently of course given the absolute thinness of the slider. Just goes to show that web site pictures and/or descriptions may not always accurately portray actual item characteristics. Was not worth even the "Black Friday" sale price. Am in the process of returning chain to amazon.

My wife liked the chain, it arrived and is what it is supposed to be. Much better than something orderd from another source that had an ad which came up when I searched for gold chain at Amazon. What was shipped there was NOT what was ordered, in fact, what was received from the other company was not even found on their web site. I liked it, decided to keep it, tried again to get what I wanted. Received another the same as the first. Gave up on them, kept both. Haven't had that problem before, with Amazon, I get what I order. But I will be thinking about that with any future purchases.
