I purchased this chain as a companion for a 14K Celtic cross I bought my sister as a birthday gift. While thin in appearance, this chain is very sturdy. My sister has worn it continuously since I gave it to her in April and has had no problem with it. The box chain has a delicate appearance but is very strong and it compliments the cross without taking away from it's beauty.
For the money, I am delighted with this chain. I worked in the fine jewelry industry for 20 years and know jewelry and I still have connections in the field, but I think this chain was the best I could do for the price and it has exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for a pendant chain I recommend this box chain.

The description of necklace said 8mm, so I thought it would be of medium size but it was much smaller than I thought. It looks more like 3 mm to me. I guess my sizing is way off! Other than that I love it!

I bought this for my wife for Christmas and it is already broken.Too thin and cheaply made .The stock chains that come with pendants are made better than this chain.If you want some future CA$H for Gold scrap by this here.

My daughter loves it but I wish I had bought a shorter heavier one. It is nice to wear with anouther chain.

The price I got is excellent and product quality/finishing superb...its always been a pleasure shopping with amazon.

This is the first time I ordered this product however, I have purchased several pieces of jewelry from Amazon and have been very pleased with the quality of the items. When I ordered this necklace I needed to replace one that broke and the jewelry stores wanted over $150.00 for a chain at this length. I bought this and was so pleased with the price and quality that I have ordered another for my daughter-in-law who was also looking for a new chain and wanted this length also. With the price of gold so high these days this was a great deal!! The only down side is that with a jeweler you get warranties and at some jewelers they are lifetime warranties but you have to decide if that is worth spending the extra money for.

Great value on a chain perfect for pendents. I got this to use in the winter months to go over heavy sweaters and turtlenecks. It works great and now I can be stylish even in the middle of winter.

I bought this chain for my mother for Christmas and she was very pleased. The chain, however, has a very small, delicate box chain design. It looks like it would easily kink if care is not taken with it. I would not use this chain to support a heavy pendant, for example.

It glows in the light in a lovely way that speaks to it being 14k Gold. The box and small bag the chain comes in makes for a nice presentation.

I had earlier gotten one of the ruby devil necklaces that are advertised here on Amazon. I think the chain was just 16", and I have a somewhat thick neck, so I decided on getting a longer chain. I bought a gold on silver chain, but the clasp was too big to fit the pendant on. So the pendant sat in my jewellery box for about a year, until I got this chain. It is a bit more substantial than the original chain, and my pendant looks just beautiful! I am very happy with this chain, although it is delicate.

This is a very nice chain for using with a small pendant. It is very comfortable and very sparkly.
