These earrings are good value for money, but they are more fashion earrings than fine jewelry. The amethyst color is good - not too pale, but the stones are not well matched. One is quite a bit paler than the other. Additionally the cut is not as good as shown in the photo. There are not as many facets on my pair, and the cuts are much longer - coarser if you like. Also the earrings have multiple fractures through the stone - fashion quality rather than gem quality. The ear wires are great, but the attachment to the stone could be better. The vertical screw is easily visible. I would have preferred a horizontal drilling though the top of the stone. Overall not bad, but not top quality.

I purchsed these earrings for my mother as amehyst is her birthstone. She loved them. There are quite dianty and give her a soft, feminine look. Love the cut on the stone
