If your intent is to practice gun disarms and you just can't bring yourself to bang up your Glock in the process then this product is a completely acceptable choice. For working in the gym or the back yard where the piece will be hitting the ground over and over I think it will "function as designed" just fine. It is reasonably priced so I rate it as four stars for that. However, take my advice and do not try to hold up a liquor store with it or you may be writing reviews from the prison library too. Now if they just made a rubber shank....

Use for Krav Maga. Solid rubber. Looks like it will last a lifetime. What else to say?

I participate and teach in Judo and Aikido. The gun is a good weight and it holds up to many repetitions. I have told several other participants in my class about this item. It is a great training gun for under $20.

This Rubber Training Gun is ideal for training in Gun Defense for martial arts. The quality is extremely good, well sized and the weight is spot on. It is rugged and will last through some brutal work on disarming techniques. Make sure you check your local laws before purchasing and carrying this item. Even though it is bright yellow and made of hard rubber there are still specific laws about owning a training gun like this one. Finally, I ordered through a vendor on Amazon and it arrive very quickly.

This product was exactly what I was looking for. A lot of other stores and websites sell a red version of this gun. The red one is the same weight and shape, but cost an upwards of $35. I paid $8 for this one. Great quality and holds up to my rigorous training sessions.

The size and weight make this a good tactile feel and the product is very durable. What more can I say, it is a "rubber gun" with weight and some good feel to it which make it a very useful training tool.

This particular rubber gun lasts a bit longer than other models I've trained with before. You and your training partner can actually grip it tightly and "wrestle" with it or for it, and it will hold up to a lot of abuse. I've had training guns that would split, crack, or have pieces that broke off, but this brand holds up noticeably longer.

Good weight for the 'real-deal feel' and works great for disarming practice. Especially good for practice because it is slightly bendable, not completely stiff like some of the other training guns you find. I've put it through a beating so far and it still holds up, so built to last.

This is a great simulated gun for practicing disarms and the like. It is very accurate in size and heft. My only complaint is its a little too flexible to give a realistic "feel" for a gun when disarming, but it does spare you injury from a bad disarm or botched strike. Beats the heck out of the cartoonish, unrealisitc wooden models.

Mostly impressed with this training gun. It is modeled and scaled almost identical to a S&W M&P 9mm. The only notable differences between the two are the weight (maybe half of the S&W), and the trigger guard is a little goofy~ it is pretty shallow. Nothing too major, will just take a bit of getting used to having that small trigger area. Other than that, this feels sturdy, hasn't gotten any mars from mishandling, and is a lot safer for safety practice than any real firearm. I would definitely recommend this to absolutely everybody who has handguns, or is interested in handguns. There is no better way to train than with something of this sort! Add a few lead balls, and the weight would be dead on for a fully loaded Glock or XDm.
