This is a high quality extension cord. It is flexible and doesn't tangle up. I use it with a snow thrower and it stays flexible no matter how cold it gets.

My son has run over 2 cords in two years with our electric lawn mower, so I decided to get a Yellow Jacket cord because it's very visible.

The light on the plug is nice so if there is a problem powering your outdoor equipment, you'll be able to troubleshoot faster by knowing if you've blown a fuse or if the electric equipment is malfunctioning.

Yellow Jacket touts this cord as flexible, and I have to agree. That was one of the first things I noticed right out of the package. I like the fact that they say this cord is three times more abrasion resistant than standard vinyl cords.

Because of it's abrasion resistance, lighted power indicator, flexibility, and bright yellow color, we'll be buying more yellow jacket cords in the future.

This is a really nice outdoor extension cord. Heavy duty. Good quality. Flexible. I liked the lighted outlet that shows you have power. I used the cord with my electric tiller. I did not have any issues. The bright yellow color stands out in the grass, so there is less of a chance of running it over. Highly recommended.

this yellow jacket extension cord is no joke. i havent owned it for long so cant truly comment on durability, but initial impressions are 5 stars. the cord is solid and the plugs are hard as metal. when you insert prongs into the plug it feels so solid and secure, plus the light is a nice touch so you know when its a live wire. would recommend this cable to anyone looking for a high quality cable that lasts. much better choice buying off amazon for 35 than getting stuck with various walmart brand 50ft for almost the same price

I recently purchased a DeWalt Belt Sander and discovered the long extension cord wasn't heavy duty enough to power the sander without overheating so I bought this US Made Power-On 12 gauge cord in both the 50 foot and 25 foot lengths. The 25 foot cord reviewed here is well constructed, fully grounded and polarized, rated 15 amp, 125V, 1875 watt. It even has a red glow light to indicate the cord has power. The cord has an SJTW vinyl jacket that won't crack in temperatures down to -35, is neon yellow and has a lifespan of fifteen years.
The cord is double insulated with solid molded plugs. Outer jacket will not mar floors or walls and is resistant to abrasion and deterioration from moisture and sunlight. Temp-Flex-35 was developed to meet the demands of contractors for a super flexible vinyl cord set.

I am very pleased with the weight and quality, and the price is considerably less than similar US made cords.

It works like a cord, but have to say, it wasn't worth what I paid for it. The first problem is, it isn't 50' long. It's about 47' long, and we really needed the whole 50', so we ended up having to add another cord (also a heavy duty). It doesn't deliver any more, or any less power, than our green cord purchased from walmart supplied (which was much cheaper..should have just stuck with it) and only one end of our cord lights up. Both ends should light up when plugged in but one end of ours is apparently burnt out or never worked to begin with. Did we receive someone else's return or what? We kept the cord but feel like we paid too much for what we got.

If you aren't running a heavy gauge cord like this one for your power equipment, you are robbing your tools of proper current and quite possibly decreasing the life of their motors!! You don't want your precious tools to take a dump on you while you're in the middle of a project because you bought the crappy Home Depot cord, do you? I didn't think so. FYI this cord is a 14 gauge cord. If you have some more serious stuff, like a 15 amp miter saw, you should probably be using a 12 gauge cord, not 14.

This cord is heavy duty enough to handle all my electical needs. Like the light at each end. Works fine.

This is a nice extension cord with it's lighted end. You always know when you have power. I use this coming off my generator to run a fridge, heat fan, and lights. Works great and a decent price on Amazon.

I have a porter cable 6 gal air compressor and the manual calls for a 14 gauge cord, max 50 ft.

All my cords are 16 gauge, so I picked this one up. It works fine, and was by far the best priced 14 gauge, 50ft cable on Amazon.
