Exclusive Yellow Jacket compound is more flexible and abrasion resistant at any temperature than standard vinyl compounds or blue cold weather cords. (don't confuse Yellow Jacket's unique high-gloss super flexible wire with yellow cords mad of regular sjtw or sjeow compounds.) Yellow jacket are the toughest on the job site. Yellow jacket is three times as abrasion resistant as standard vinyl.

I have had this cord set now for about 5 years, it has held up well after being used on abrasive surfaces (rough concrete driveways, gravel and dirt). The outer jacket is very thick and tough. Always flexible even in very cold weather. Much better price from Amazon than what I could find locally for a 10 gauge cord. I am very pleased at how well it has held up.

This extension cord is EXACTLY what it is advertised to be, soft, flexible, rated for a 20 amp circuit, and lighted when there is power! I use it for power to an indoor sauna almost nightly, and have never experienced the cord being hot to the touch (thereby meaning it is handling the 20 amps safely and sufficiently).
