Amazon.com Product Description

Like freshly picked petals in spring, this dainty bracelet features flowers of bright pear-shaped gemstones clustered around 14k yellow gold centers. The graceful, lightweight bracelet contains 72 total faceted gemstones arranged in 12 same-stone flowers with six petals each (six stone flowers are repeated twice to complete the bracelet). Five of the flowers are made of fairly translucent tones: lilac amethyst, pale blue aquamarine, ice blue topaz, lemony gold citrine, and light yellowish-green peridot. The remaining flower is a dark rose garnet that stands out boldly. Each pear-shaped petal rests in three prongs, including a shared one at the flower’s center. The flowers attach to each other with two strands of gold filament on either side and a box clasp keeps the bracelet securely fastened. Like a fresh pastel bouquet, this multi-stone bracelet is a sweet summertime and resort decoration.

3.0 out of 5 stars Jewelry for Skanks, October 8, 2004
This review is from: 14k Yellow Gold Multi-Color Gemstone Flower Bracelet (Jewelry)
Where did Paris Hilton come from? (This is a rhetorical question: All babies pretty much still come from the same place).

Who can remember back to the day they first heard the name "Paris Hilton"? It could not have been more than two years ago.

I remember well the headlines about the various R-rated escapades of Paris Hilton. At first, I thought: The AP writers really ought to check their stylebooks, because they are anthropomorphizing the Hilton hotel in Paris, France. Then, I finally saw a picture of said Paris Hilton and found out that it was not at all the hotel, but the teenaged miscreant Tochter of the owners of the aforementioned hotel chain.

Yet, two years later, more skeptical people are still asking the question: "What has Paris Hilton actually *done*, besides being born into a rich family and behaving in the fashion of an irresponsible tramp?"

Well, now we have found out what she has done: She has lent her name to a line of tacky products that are just as gaudy and bereft of taste as the Celine Dion licensed merchandise.

Paris Hilton is living proof that being born rich does not necessarily mean that taste rides on the coattails of wealth.
