I have purchased some overlay bracelets, and the overlay was obvious. Not the case here. The sheen of the metal setting was very nice, perhaps because of the use of 18K gold. This is quite a lovely bracelet and a super value. The garnets used were of good size, deep color, with uniform placement. The accent diamonds between each garnet were white to the eye and added genuine sparke. Such a pretty, feminine piece! The clasp was strong and appropriately sized. Just one of the "gifts" I have decided to keep for myself (Ha!), this will definitely be the bracelet I wear for Christmas!

Amazon ran this item about three weeks ago at a discount on top of a low price, netting the cost to about $16 (yes, really), including super saver shipping. At this price, the bracelet is well worth it. I read the other reviews carefully, especially regarding the cut of the garnets, which I subjected to my jeweler's loup. There is no question that these garnets are not the best cut; in fact, at least half of them look as if they were done by someone who was learning the craft. In addition, of the 24 stones, two of them have distinct chips along the main, large facet. But these flaws are really only visible using the loup, plus this bracelet is nice costume jewelry, not something high end. I was pleasantly surprised that the stones were more red (and color matched) than reddish brown like Amazon's picture. I also didn't think that the diamond flecks would add appreciably to the effect, but I was wrong; they do have sparkle and enhance the overall appearance. In my opinion the bracelet is worth up to $25 but no more because of the poor cut of the garnets.

I received this bracelet in a timely manner. I was surprised by how much heavier as it was than the same type of garnet braclet I had purchased 15 years ago from Penneys. I am disappointed to say that it did not even last 1 month. I ordered it in November and when I was wrapping Christmas presents, I looked down and the bracelet was sitting on the table and had broken right near the clasp...I was disappointed and returned it right away for a refund.

As the other review states, this is a really amazing piece of jewelry. The garnets are a lovely deep red, and the diamonds between accent the bracelet in a really beautiful way. The clasp on the bracelet appears to be very sturdy (as well as elegant), so I'll hopefully be wearing it for many years to come. I couldn't have received a more perfect birthday present and am extremely happy with this item. Buying jewelry sight-unseen can be a bit of a gamble, but this piece looks at least as good as it does in the picture (actually much better in my opinion). It's gorgeous enough to wear to a formal event, but it's also light and simple enough to wear on an everyday basis. Highly recommended!! (Also shipped very quickly from Amazon and arrived in a velvet navy pouch in a small navy box. Thank you, Amazon!)

This is a beautiful garnet braclet but if you look closely the facets of many garnets are miss shaped. Never the less it was a good deal and the person I gave it too was very happy with it.

This may be an inexpensive piece of jewelry, but you can tell. It does not look as good as it does in the picture. The "gold" color is yellow and looks like cheap gold, and the stones are not all the same shape. The girl I gave it to was not impressed at all, and has not worn it since receiving it.

This bracelet is beautiful and looks more expensive than it cost. The garnets a very nice color. The size is nice, too, not too big nor too small. The clasp is snug and secure. If you look closely with a magnifying glass, you'll see that not all of the stones are uniformly set, but overall, I was wowed with the piece for the price.

Not bad, but a bit expensive, I thought. It looks better on the wrist (preferably of a darker-skinned person) than all by itself. The garnets are a bit small within the settings; not quite like the photo.

This bracelet is very pretty. The garnets are nicely shaped with a clear hue to them. I would caution potential buyers that the garnets have a rusty/red coloring, versus a pure red or ruby-like coloring. The small diamonds in between the garnets are very small; so small that you can't really see them. You mainly see the silver prongs holding the diamonds. Having said that, it is still a lovely bracelet. I purchased this on the Lightning Deal for $30, so overall, I believe this was a good buy for what I got.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my mom - she loved it! It fit her perfectly and was beautiful - didn't look inexpensive at all. Great find!
