Labradorite is an unusual mineral that appears to be a mottled slate gray at first glance. A closer look reveals its secret: a colorful schiller--in shades of blue, violet, and green among others--flashes on the surface of the stone when it's turned in the light. This unique necklace features a rectangular stone of checkerboard faceted labradorite at its center, framed by 14 karat yellow gold bead spacers. The stone is featured on a 16-inch beaded chain made up of pretty roundels of sky blue topaz. A 14 karat yellow gold lobster claw clasp completes the design.
