This piece was pretty much what I expected. The gems are decent quality and the chain is very lightweight. I have to store this separately so that the chain doesn't get tangled. It does have a round spring-type clasp. I will replace the chain with a more sturdy one and with a lobster-claw clasp. The pendant size is somewhere between nickel size and dime size, not too small but not too big. Excellent size for young girls but okay for adults, too.
