I got this for my mother for Christmas. She at first thought the chain would be too short, but it comes down a bit (maybe 1-2 inches) past the collarbone and looks very nice on her. It's dainty and pretty and does sparkle for its size. Nice gift.

The pendant is smaller than I thought, that's why I give it a 4 stars.

I ordered this for my ladyfriend. She absolutely loved it. The diamond in it is tiny, however it looks bigger in the picture because of the way it is set. The only thing is that the chain broke the next day while she was wearing it. The chain is very delicate and loosely assembled. Overall it is very nice and I would definitely order it again but I would order a different chain with it.

My 10 yr old got this from her grandmother for Christmas and she LOVES it. The chain it comes on is extremely thin and broke the first time she wore it. I got a new sturdier chain and it's fine now. She loves the pendant and it was the perfect little necklace for a young girl. I would recommend this if you don't mind buying a better chain for it.

The Picture Fooled Even me. The pendent is about the size of a quarter if not smaller, i recommend it if you want to get a nice present and in a budget.

I am happy to say that this gift came much quicker than I thought it would. The size is deceiving. I put it next to something I thought was much bigger, and was suprised it was the same size. This is why I sent the picture with another piece of jewelry bought at the same time. When you put it on though it looks great and a decent size. Ruby is an expensive item compared to other jems, so the jems that are included are not very reflective. The item is a great buy and will be appropriate for my preteen. I think I would not mind owning this piece myself. I do recommend the item for size and price.

This necklace pendant is the perfect size for me, not too small like some people reviewed. I guess it depends on preference. The price is nice too. Gold overlay looks fine, and the chain looks pretty and sturdy as well.

I bought this as a gift to myself.(I'm a july baby)The pendant is about the size of a dime. The ruby's are not reddish they're more of a very light pink which is fine with me because most real ruby's are a pinkish color anyway. I love the box chain they're very fragile though and it's hard to find a replacement(for the box chain)it seems that the box chain dosent snag on the little hairs on the back of your neck as other chains do. I got a compliment on it about a hour after I put it on. I like the diamond in the middle even though it's very,very,very small it still glitters and glistens as well as the ruby's. I plan on wearing this everyday. I loved the price u can't beat it!! I even had professional jewlers(employees at kays and jared)ask me where I got my necklace...and I told them ("I got this from amazon.com.") and they looked at me astonished.(which made me feel great) If your looking for a simple but very beautiful and sometimes dressy but inexpensive piece of REAL ruby jewlery this is it right here. Amazon has yet made me another very happy customer. Thank u amazon! I would've rated 100+ stars but it only goes to 5 : ). its very tiny and rather adorable,
the rubies in mine seem to waffle between pink and purple depending on the light
the gems came with some obvious scratches but overall i am pleased with the quality i got for $19

The price is fantastic. Ordered another today. Both are for my grand daughters for Valentines. A wee bit small, but fits my needs.
