Good Resource,
By A Customer
This review is from: Yellow Ware - The Transitional Ceramic (Revised Edition) (Paperback)
This book is helpful in identifying pieces, and learning some early history, but of course the prices are very outdated. The photography isn't of the best quality, and in some cases, unprofessional looking for a book, but still interesting and helpful. There were some inconsistencies in the text and errors with Pottery names, but I think it's worth owning if you are a yellow ware collector.

not what I thought it would be,
This review is from: Yellow Ware (Paperback)
I purchased this book with the intention of researching historical information and using the pricing guide to establish values of the yellow ware bowls I have been collecting. I found this book disappointing. It is great for the history of yellow ware, especially for imported pieces. Pictures do not come with very detailed explanations, often offering prices without any details of makers, markings etc. I was expecting more of a price guide for specific pieces, however there is no real comprehensive guide, pretty much only general "guidelines". It is helpful to direct you as to what producers are best to collect, but not very informative as to how to identify/recognize these pieces.
