"Beyond Ocean Avenue: Live At The Electric Factory" is an awesome DVD! Yellowcard puts on an energetic show like always; this is the closest you can get to seeing them perform live and in person. The list of songs they chose is fantastic because they play the old and new, from 'Underdog EP', 'One For The Kids', and 'Ocean Avenue.' If you're a long time and/or dedicated fan, you'll definitely love Yellowcard's first ever DVD. The documentary part is hilarious. I've already watched it multiple times and still am not tired of watching it. This is also a great oppurtunity for new fans to learn more about the band as people and as musicians, especially if you haven't seen them live yet. This is definitely a must have for ANY Yellowcard fan, and a great stocking stuffer. =P

Last time Yellowcard toured Australia, there had been an incident causing underage shows to be cancelled... I unfortunately missed out on seeing one of my favourite bands play live! A couple of months ago magazines like Blunt and Beat were advertising the new Yellowcard DVD to be released soon! The day it came out I rushed to JB Hi-Fi on my lunch break and bought the DVD. I have been playing it non-stop. I cannot speak highly enough of it. It is perfect. I give it an 11 out of 10... a superb DVD by an excellent band who work so well together... they fit together like a jigsaw puzzle... not only on stage, but as friends, and family... you will notice this when you watch the documentry featured on the DVD. Very disappointed I missed out on personally standing in the crowd, but far from disappointed in the quality of the performances on "Beyond Ocean Avenue".

This is deffinately a must have for all Yellowcard fans, Weather you've been with them trough it all or just started listening you will greatly appriciate this DVD. The live concert is amazing (wish i could have been there). I Found the little documentary to be very entertaing as well. There are also 5 (that i know of) bonus features on this DVD of the sessions @ aol, including acoustic versions of "View From Heaven", "Empy Apartment", "Ocean Avenue", and "Only One". the last feature is a short question/answer with 2 of the band members. I highly recomend this DVD to EVERYONE!

This Dvd has stuff for the biggest YC fan or just the ones who like oldies, You get both. Yellowcard is a really energetic and an amazing band. They performed they're songs excellently.(16 great tracks) The Dvd offers a documentary, which is cool because I found out some new stuff about them even though I've known this band for 3 LONG years....... Get it you will not be disappointed.

Whether already a fan or a curious listener looking for something new, Beyond Ocean Avenue proves Yellowcard to be much deserving of their fanatical following. This DVD comes with most of the standards of the format, including a behind the scenes documentary, a bonus feature of their Sessions@AOL acoustic show, and a full length concert.

But what sets Beyond Ocean Avenue apart from every other rock show presentation is the quality of its content. The documentary not only takes the viewer into the lives of the Warped tour generation band, but introduces the personalities of its members. As with most, the token group interviews show the band looking bored and disinterested and do not teach the long-time Yellowcard fan anything new, but are insightful to new recruits who are looking to learn the basics. The highlights are the candid scenes where the band appears much more relaxed and makes situation after situation both hilarious and captivating.

Unlike many rock DVDs, which put more effort into the rockumentary than the concert segments, the real gem of Beyond Ocean Avenue is the live show. If Yellowcard's albums had not been proof enough, watching Key and his contemporaries play for an intense Philadelphia crowd definitely confirms their musicianship. The power of "Believe," the opening track, is undeniable, and just short of its glory are "October Nights" and "Twentythree." But while the audience visibly connects the most with the bigger radio hits, the standout tracks are "Empty Apartment" and "Way Away," which showcase the softer and harder side of Yellowcard respectively.

The strongest point of Beyond Ocean Avenue is the bridge of the latter, "Way Away," in which Key masterfully echoes what should be the band's motto: "Letting out the noise inside of me..." What a beautiful noise it is.

This DVD provides an authentic concert experience for the viewer - Yellowcard gives off an infectious energy, and the performance includes everything from sing-alongs to backflips. There's also a documentary that takes the viewer through Yellowcard's experiences on tour. Funny stuff. I would recommend it to any YC fan.

I bought this cd because i really enjoy yellowcard. The Dvd didnt dissapoint.

I didnt realize they were this good live until i watched this.
The best songs live were "Believe", "Life of a Salesmen"(MY FAVORITE SONG LIVE OR NOT LIVE),"View From Heaven", and "Way Away".

For the song "Twentythree", Ryan tells the crowd to split in two and leave a path in the middle. Then he says(and i quote)"When the song s*** starts i want you guys to run that way, and you guys to run that way". It was insane. You see this guy, he's so happy to be on camera then you see him gradually sinking into the crowd.

This dvd was spectacular and i recommend it to those who like yellowcard, or those who enjoyed the newfound glory live in london dvd, although they aren't that simmaler, you will love it.

Beyond Ocean Avenue- Live at the Electric Factory is an amazing DVD. Lots of live footage of them performing. They perform so well you will love to watch this, even if you have already been to a concert of theirs. I just have to say this DVD is truly amazing.

I'm a big fan of Yellowcard, I first heard of them back in 2007. I was hesitant on getting this dvd because I've seen some clips on YouTube and some stuff was kinda sloppy. But when I saw this "used-like new still sealed" for nearly $3 I went ahead and got it because of the cheap price. I like it because it's Yellowcard but the performance is sloppy, LP is a great drummer...here I don't know what was going on but you can notice the tempo change A LOT. Some songs start fast then slow second time around, some are too fast and well it's not stable tempo wise and this bothers me a lot, I'm guessing most dont notice cause their not musicians or whatever. What saves this dvd is the documentary and bonus material, thats the good stuff in this dvd!!! I also just got it to have it in my YC collection haha. I am hoping that they do a new dvd soon, that would be awesome and it would be so much better performance wise because they are much more experienced now!
