The Yellowfin Tuna is by far the most colorful in their family. Yellowfin Tuna typically average 30 to 70 pounds. They are found globally and are one of the world's most valuable fish. A pelagic specie, most Yellowfin Tuna are fond of deep water travel, migrating down to us in the Florida Keys via the Atlantic gulf stream in the winter months. Their flesh is light in color, unlike that of the Bluefin or Albacore Tuna. If you are an avid seafood lover, the Yellowfin Tuna's taste requires no description.
