This was the 2nd book in this series and I loved it more then the first. I loved the trials and experiences Sarah and Chase went through which made their relationship grow through their own feelings and trials. I loved how the writer included the characters from the first book that made you feel like you were continueing the story that you fell in love with. Yellowstone Redemption is exciting, romantic and full of surprises. If you like the mountains and wilderness with a romantic theme you will love this book. 5+ Stars
I can hardly wait for the third book in this wonderful series.

Ms Henderson has done it again. Yellowstone Redemption is filled with edge-of-the-seat adventure. The tension between the main characters is strung tighter than a piano string. Caught up in the story and passion of Sarah and Chase, I couldn't turn the pages fast enough to see if Chase would return to his home or if he would realize that he was meant to stay in the past with Sarah. During one particular scene, I remember shouting, "Nooooooo," as I came to the end of the chapter. Ms Henderson was faithful in providing a happy ending, but what a ride it was to get there. And with all good, thrill pumping rides, I went right back to the beginning and started the adventure again. I am anxious to see what's next from this author.

First, I would like to start off saying starts off with an amazingly hot prologue that will catch the attention of romance-lovers everywhere! It's hot, sexy, and made me want to read more and more!

I was pulled into the plot of an amazing book (I'm talking about Yellowstone Redemption, if your confused) by the writer's delightful and creative writing style. She writes in her own unique way; I'm confused why she isn't best-seller yet!

Yellowstone Redemption is way better than the first (and I absolutely LOVED the first one, don't get me wrong). It's different and the exact opposite in the way that the man is from the 21 century instead of the woman. But that is completely okay, nobody wants to read the exact same plot in the sequel, we want something different. Ms. Henderson did not let me down!

While I was immersed in the world that Ms. Henderson created, I realized how similar this book is to Pocahontas. Sure, Sarah isn't the daughter of a Native American Cheif or Chase an English soldier (far from it). It is similar in the way that they are from two different people (essentially) that are forbidden to love one another and yet love triumphs. I think of this book as Pocahontas with a unique, addicting twist!

Recommendations??

Historical romance fans that would be interested in reading something completely different would adore this book! I know I love it, and will probably be reading this again in the future.

Yellowstone Redemption is the 2nd book in the Yellowstone Romance Series by Peggy Henderson. While it can certainly be read independently on its own, I highly recommend reading the first book Yellowstone Heart Song which is the story of Sarah's parents, Aimee and Dan. It was great to revisit with old friends again.

After a night of partying Chase wakes up 200 years in the past, nearly frozen to death. A band of warriors drop him off at the Osborne cabin however Aimee is away from home so Sarah is left to nurse him back to health. Neither of them planned to fall in love in the process.

Initially Chase seemed a bit naďve and spoiled, too used to thinking of his own pleasures but soon learned in the wilderness in order to survive he needed to grow up and become a man. The way the Blackfoot Indians tested him after he was captured I feel really made this hit home to Chase and he was able to prove (although not yet to himself) that he was well on his way to becoming a strong, noble man capable of providing for himself and any family he may have down the road.

My one confusion with the story was the importance placed on Chase's drug and alcohol addiction because despite the references throughout to the addiction, it really didn't play much of an important role. It wasn't until much later in the story when we actually witness how the addiction and demons Chase has had to overcome play a more important role in the relationship between him and Sarah.

Overall, I really enjoyed this second edition to the Yellowstone Romance Series and can't wait to read the third book.

I've never been one for history. It always bored me to tears in school; dates and locations that I could not relate to. The only time I've ever remembered anything remotely to do with history was when there was a story attached. And, the better the story, the more I remembered.

Yellowstone Redemption, the second book in the Yellowstone Romance Series, is my first exposure to this author. It brought me in to a world that I could not have fathomed otherwise. A world that seethed with danger and strict customs. A world so very unlike the one we live in today. Yes, we have dangers, but those are more times man-made than not.

This story, having a character from the future, Chase, brought to an unknown past, had me completely riveted. Definitely not something I would have said about studying Native America in the 1800's in high school. Although not entirely factual, as mentioned by the author at the end of the book, it was so real that I felt I could go there.

The romance between Chase and Sarah is my favorite type of story. One where both parties learn more about themselves because the other has happened in to their life. A story that brings heat and passion to each day; each page bringing you a stitch closer to the bond being created. And, in the end, there is our happily ever after...my favorite part of any good story.

I sincerely enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the others in the series. I do hope to start with book 1 and then follow the rest of the series in its proper order. A wonderful book that I highly recommend.

I never thought I'd be a writer, much less publish a book someday. I always wanted to be a veterinarian. I guess life just had other plans for me. When my husband and I decided to start a family, vet school pretty much went out the window. I used to work with a vet who had three children while going through vet school. To this day, she is my hero.

I'm married to my high school sweetheart, and together with our two sons, we make our home in Southern California. Our family also includes a Labrador Retriever, a welsh pony, a miniature horse, three cats, four bearded dragons, and a flock of laying hens. Almost every summer since my husband and I graduated from high school, we spend two weeks camping in Yellowstone National Park.

Four years ago, I began writing a story that, for whatever reason, was stuck in my head for almost a year. I have been an avid romance reader for a long time, and the idea took hold to - why not? - write my own!
It has been a long and difficult journey and learning experience from my first sentence to a completed, and hopefully polished, manuscript.

The story, titled Yellowstone Heart Song, is set in the Rocky Mountain region which today encompasses Yellowstone National Park. It takes place decades before the area was even known to white men, a time just after Lewis and Clark, before the mountain man era was in full swing.

The story has turned into the Yellowstone Romance Series, with five books and a novella published.
My newest venture is a time travel romance series, which I am calling Second Chances. The first title, Come Home to Me, released on October 17, 2012. I am also working on a historical romance trilogy, called the Teton Romance Trilogy. Book 1, Teton Sunrise, was published in February, 2013.
