I had barely started opening the envelope when my girls were doing figure eights around my feet, meering and sniffing madly. That should have been the first clue. I tossed the Yeeow! Banana in the air, and Charlie-the-Ragdoll leaped up to catch it. She was already bunny-kicking it on her way back down, and Maisy-the-Persian tackled her to take it away. These are the two mellowest, sweetest cats imaginable, going completely bananas (c'mon, you saw that coming) over this toy.

For comparison, I bought them a Kickeroo two weeks ago. They completely ignore it. The Banana, I think I'm gonna have to order another one to avoid jealousy issues. Best toy ever, according to my girls.

My 5 kitties love this banana! They literally wait in line to have a turn at it. While one is playing with the nanner, another is sitting on the floor next to him watching him make a fool of himself. So I'm buying a bunch. I will say it didn't last all that long but it got a LOT of use. They chewed the end thru after a couple of weeks. Not all the way thru but enough for catnip to get out on the floor which is fine by them. And it did get cruddy kinda fast because of all the cat slobber. But they do LOVE IT! And I love them so more nanners for my putty tats!

I was looking for a new catnip toy for my cat. I chose the Yeowww! Banana based on all the positive reviews. Well, the reviews are accurate in that your cat will absolutely love this toy. Unfortunately, my cat was having so much fun that he ripped it wide open the very first day! Based on durability, I would only give this product one star. But since my cat would give it 5 stars, let's just call it 3. If you must have this toy, and your cat has teeth and claws, you may want to consider the 3-pack!!

I figured that pictures don't do it justice, so here's my review of the Yeoww Catnip Banana cat toy, and some clips of my cats going haywire over them. Enjoy- GrayBeard

This was our gateway drug to the cat toys that Yeowww! makes. We thought our 13 year old lady/princess cat refused to play with toys (except tampons and crumple receipts, and paper bags) and was immune to catnip. Boy were we wrong.

Banana has been dragged throughout our house, had to travel cross country with us, and after over a year is disgusting, covered in kitty spittle and hair and dust. At least once a week we find banana, secreted away by one of our cats to a new "hidden" location, soaking wet in kitty drool (boy cat is a licket, and banana turns her into a licker). We once watched princess move banana from one side of the dining room to the other by rubbing it with her head, lick the entire thing over and bat it around a bit, then run off in a catnip-induced stupor to smack her "pool boy" (our other cat, 10 years younger and 50% bigger, who loves any kind of attention from her) around a bit.

Every now and then I convince myself that banana is losing it power or is so gross it needs to be thrown out (it looks like a rotten banana now). but then I see one of the cats ferociously attacking it, or dragging it behind the sofa, or stuffing it in my shoes and I think... not quite yet.

My cat loves catnip toys, but this one was stale and so had very little smell and so he wasn't as interested in it as others. It comes unwrapped in anything - no plastic, nothing to keep it fresh. I suggest you go for the cigar or something else instead!

Literally within two hours of giving this to our cat, he has ripped apart the seam and spilled catnip all over the house. There are also visible bite marks in the fabric. Thinking it should be made with more durable fabric. Our kitty has an old (2-3 year old) catnip toy that he still loves that is similar in design to this one and it still hasn't fallen apart! Not going to recommend this on unfortunately. :(

My cat really likes this toy, but after the first hour it became more of a catnip dispenser than anything else. My cat is a decent size, about 16 lbs, so it's not all surprising that it broke, but I do wish it were a bit tougher. Catnip everywhere.

That said, he still loves it and enjoys the catnip that it throws everywhere. I just have to limit the play time and clean up afterward.
