Godly parenting advice.,
By A Customer
This review is from: Yes, They're All Ours: Six of One, Half a Dozen of the Other (Paperback)
Rick and Marilyn certainly encouraged me!!! As the mother of seven beautiful blessings from God, I am thankful for the Godly example put forth by this couple. The book is entertaining and informative! It's an "I don't want to put it down until I'm finished" type of book. Easy reading. Rick certainly has a way with words (and children). This book is a must for any married couple. It will give you a whole new attitude toward children and the blessing that they are.

Good basic theology for families and how to raise them,

I have read this book twice. It is a really funny book, and very thought provoking. Rick and Marilyn will encourage your walk with the Lord and strengthen your home.My copy did seem to have a lot of annoying type-os, but again, the content is first rate! Before you marry and begin a family, read this book. It would make a great gift for a Godly couple getting married. I hope to meet the Boyers one day!

This book is a fantastic read overall, though I would rather have seen more theological development and less emphasis on the author's personal journey of faith and foibles. Generally speaking, the book is an uplifting look at trusting God to plan and provide for children. The real miracle is that he found the time to write a book while running his own business and raising twelve kids! :)

Funny look inside this great family,

This book was really a fun read. For parents (especially dads) who hope to have a big family, it's really great to get this peak inside and hear from a man who's walking the walk. There aren't a lot of role models for Christian dads these days, but Rick Boyer is definitley on the list.

Fun read!,

Rick has a down-home way of writing. Makes you feel like you're visiting the family. There were quite a few typos/errors and grammatical mistakes, but if you can look past them, it was a nice short book about a modern-day large family.

Excellent and Fun Book to Read!,
This review is from: Yes, They're All Ours (Paperback)
This book is actually fun to read with lots of helpful hints. He brings up very important points about things that I had never thought of. They are wise financially also which is a bonus. They give ideas on organization. Rick is hilariously funny and will keep you laughing with his sense of humor. You'll want to read this cover to cover. :D
