5.0 out of 5 stars Hard rock must-have, January 26, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Yesterday & Today (Audio CD)
This is a slice of music history that I've treasured since it's release in 1976. People that love AC/DC should appreciate the raw guitar sound, and the in-your-face solos courtesy of Dave Meniketti, who remains one of the all-time great guitarists.

This debut effort will cleanse your palate of the over produced and seemingly directionless efforts of the '90s, and it holds it's own even today. Put it on, crank it up and smile!

5.0 out of 5 stars Drumming you'll never hear again before or after, October 4, 2008
This review is from: Yesterday & Today (Audio CD)
This cd is a must, I've worn out a couple of albums in the 70's. The single bass triplets by Leonard Haze are awesome. The music might be a bit dated now but there has never been any drumming like this since. For drummers it's an orgasm of overplaying that works. Haze smokes any double-bass player before of after. They had Motley Crue open for them in L.A. when I saw them and they ripped up. Haze had a huge bass drum and one huge tom and he tore the place up. Bonham did a little of this stuff but not enough!

3.0 out of 5 stars Not their best but sure worth having!, June 18, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Yesterday & Today (Audio CD)
This is how it all started for Yesterday and Today, later known just as Y&T. If you're a Y&T fan you should get a copy as fast as possible since there is indication that it will be impossible to get a hold on this cd in the future... This debut album contains some classic song like "25 hours a day", "Earthshaker", "Fast ladies" and "Beatiful dreamer".
