Book Description

Living alone after decades of marriage, friends Carrie, Glenda, and Suzanne take a three week Pacific cruise. The voyage is meant to be about laughter, strawberry daiquiris, and above all, forgetting. But lies, confrontations, and romantic entanglements pose unexpected threats.

When Carrie befriends a widower in desperate need of companionship, he could take her down to the depths of despair. A dyslexic teenager just might unlock new purpose in Glenda's future...if her association with him doesn't destroy her reputation first. And Suzanne is startled by the strong physical attraction she feels for a handsome stranger, but will she lose everything by giving in to her passion?

Throw in a dose of international intrigue and a dash of theft, then top it off with a Tahitian full moon. Will all three be on the flight home?

This is the second book of the series, "The Women of Lakeshore Drive." Each book stands alone as a complete story while the series follows three baby boomers over a progression of time.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Read! January 28, 2014

Yesterday To tomorrow is a super sequel to Sheryl's first book. It just keeps getting better and I am anxious to read her next book. It is hard to believe she is a new author. She develops the story line early and keeps the reader's attention through every page. For the guys, this is not just a book for the girls. You'll love it too. Nice work. Sheryl! Bring it on.

More About the Author

"I intend to die young at a very advanced age." That's my motto! Born Sheryl Black, I grew up primarily in Knoxville, Iowa, attended Grinnell College, and married my high school sweetheart, Rich Fawcett. Today we live in Omaha NE. We raised two daughters, and have four granddaughters. We enjoy boating, flying, world-wide travel, and spending summer days on the Lake of the Ozark in Missouri. My career path ranged from owning my own dance studio to selling residential real estate, with intervening years of volunteer work. That included a stint as Chairman of Committee on Auxiliaries, Iowa Hospital Association. I have written from time to time throughout my life, fiction and non-fiction. Published works include full length novels and short stories.

Photos on my author page: a beach in Maui, sleeping tent by the Colorado River in Grand Canyon, rainy day at Butchart Gardens on Vancouver Island (my parody of "Singing In The Rain").
