Yesterday's Love is a delightful first novel written by Karilea Rilling Jungel. Ms. Jungel, in her elegant and poetic language, has penned a story that will warm hearts and lift spirits with her recurring theme of enduring love and friendship that fills the pages with such beauty that it is impossible to put the book down. I kept turning the pages, all the while, hoping that the story would never end. Now that I have reached the last page, I simply want to read it again.

The story is rich with believable dialogue, well-developed characters and scenes that come to life under Ms. Jungel's masterful pen. There is love, devoted friendship, anger, jealousy, betrayal and deep sadness all interwoven in this tale of a century old cold case that is carefully resolved and put to rest in the present day. It is a mystery written with parallel love stories occurring in the past and the present.

If you are thinking about a gift for the holidays, I highly recommend giving a copy of this book to a good friend for a delightful winter reading experience.

Yesterday's Love was truly an inspiring story of love from the past, blended with love from the present. Karilea has a true gift for writing and making the characters come to life. It was a wonderful story and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I can't wait for the next one!

The story line immediately grabs your attention and easily holds
it from beginning to end. The author has captured a very magical,
mystical feeling through out the entire book.
I savored every minute of this delightfully captivating story.

An amazing story line and characters that live! I am a fast reader, usually devouring a book as quickly as I can, but I made Yesterday's Love last. I only have a tiny bit left and already I am feeling the loss. I will hate the moment when I will have to close these pages. I guess I'll just have to read it again.

Could not put this book down...
to me and for me, very spiritual in a metaphysical sort of way...which seems obviously the backbone of this sensitive and fascinating novel. It's impassioned with a consistent spinning wheel of a lover's mystery...keeping nostalgia alive, content with thoughtful places that you can hear, touch and feel for yourself. Excellent substance...in a relaxed manner, feeding constant messages, essential information, just enough to impatiently turn to the next page....there was no substitute for the peace this book made me feel...so much so, couldn't pick up another book for quite some time, wanted to. I'm a push over for paranormal, and the translations this book sings is simply up close and delicate. I had a good time in this eclectic period of time.

I could not put Yesterday's Love down. Ms Jungel's masterful penning had me mesmerized completely. The characters came to life becaming my family and my friends. I looked forward to seeing them everyday. I did not want it to end.

Their is love, warmth and charm in Ms Jungel's first novel. An exceptional and gifted Author.

I simpy cannot wait for the next one.

I loved this book. Once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down. The writing flowed beautifully and made the characters come to life. This is truly a gifted new author. I can't wait for her next book!
