About the Author
Brent Kado doesn’t hate the English language. In fact, he is quite fond of it since it is the only one he speaks. What he does hate, though, is all of its rules and rigid structure. So he doesn’t follow any rules or form, he just writes and in the end it all comes out quite nicely, allowing the reader to jump into the babbling river of consciousness and be whisked away into the ambient night. He likes to call his style ‘Schitzoccletic Prose.’ The style not only is fast-moving but often goes without stopping for long periods, giving the reader an open glimpse into the author’s mind, so they can more easily become one with the story. Brent vows not to rest until all literature is judged by its true artistic value, and not how it fits into certain guidelines.When he is not championing ‘Schitzoccletic Prose,’ Brent spends his time playing basketball, meditating, listening to funk, helping out on the website FlowFeel.com (the voice of this generation) or just writing. He has also written a movie that will go into production in the spring of 2001, Piping-Hot Drunk. He will co-direct the film.
