2.0 out of 5 stars second hand info...
I read this book with open eyes! All the information was second hand or a friend of a friend of a friend... I was disapointed in the writing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Story About Billy Meier Finally Told, November 29, 2001

This review is from: And Yet... They Fly! (Paperback)
As an interested reader of Billy Meier's material, I met the author of this book, Guido Moosbrugger, in Switzerland back in 1989 on the property of the Semjase Silver Star Center. I was somewhat wary about finding myself in some kind of cult atmosphere before going over, and I am glad I saw what I did with my own eyes. The attitude of Billy Meier was of a normal person without any ego or self-glorifying aura I had thought I would encounter. This relieved me as the man was completely approachable and down-to-earth despite his astounding experiences and knowledge gained from the extraterrestrials he has been contacting since he was 5 years old.
I learned there were volumes (about 15 with 200 pages each) yet unpublished in English, as well as almost 20 books that Meier has written about the more than 300 face-to-face contacts he has had since 1942. There were also 4 thick books of over 700 photographs of the spaceships visiting him that he has taken, mostly from 1975-1976. The quantity and quality of the material at hand was truly overwhelming. For one week, all I did was sit and read as much as I could get my hands on.
I met several of Meier's helpers who come to the SSSC on the week-ends as well as a few who actually have their own residence there. The matter-of-fact mentality of these people and the normalcy with which they interacted with Meier convinced me this was no guru and this was no cult. It was a group of interested people who wanted to know about the subject of Ufology and spirituality and about the outrageous experiences of Billy Meier.
One of the people I met was a retired school principal from Austria called Guido Moosbrugger. Mr. Moosbrugger had been conducting his own investigation into the Meier case ever since the two first met back in 1976 when Meier was giving a lecture in Munich. Moosbrugger impressed me as a thoughtful and pensive man with a warm sense of humor and an Einstein-like mind. Eventually, he would have a book published in 1991 about the Meier case but it would only be available in German. I longed for the day it would be translated into English.
As the years went by, I became increasingly frustrated waiting for the book to finally appear. You can imagine how deeply thrilled I was when I heard that after several attempts by manipulative, would-be publishers to omit key sections from the book, it would finally come out this year unexpurgated.
I rushed to order a copy, sadly unavailable in Canada, and sat down to read a terrific story and compilation of Guido's knowledge about this case from his 25-year investigatory viewpoint.
The photos in the book (more than 77) are first-rate quality and its 456 pages are filled with fascinating detail - even for someone who has been following the case for years, like myself.
With all the rumor and innuendo surrending Billy Meier as a man and his experiences, isn't it time we exposed ourselves to an in-depth look at this case from someone who was often almost right at Meier's side when the events happened?
This book has already begun its way to being a true classic in the annals of historical literature. I recommend it extremely highly.

5.0 out of 5 stars The definitive manual on the Billy Meier contacts, October 31, 2001

Without a doubt, this book has all you ever wanted to see in an exploration of a real (and ongoing!) UFO case. Amazingly clear, daytime photos of spacecraft, pages and pages describing the alien visitors and their technology, a full biography of the contactee, revelations of human origins, future prophecies...it's all in here! Not your typical hide-and-seek UFO book by any means. You're practically given a private tour of an extraterrestrial civilization that has been visiting here all along -- and you're also given the science to back it all up. Be prepared to stay awake many nights reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best book yet, on the Billy Meier UFO case!, October 20, 2001

After years of only being able to hear the skeptics view point on the Billy Meier UFO case in the last few years. We finally we get a new book about the True Facts of the Billy Meier case. By a man who's studied the case for over 25 years. Other books on the Meier case like "UFO...Contact from the Pleiades" by Wendell Stevens & "Light Years" by Gary Kinder, were very good but are now somewhat outdated, even though I highly recommend them also. But this book is the most thoroughly researched of all the books on Billy Meier case. I highly recommend this book!

4.0 out of 5 stars Of course they fly!, September 26, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: And Yet... They Fly! (Paperback)
Looking for intelligent life in the universe? This book lands on your front lawn. If you are a fan of "Star Trek" and other science fiction, you are gonna love this book too; get "beamed up" to the truth about extraterrestrials and their starships, technology, society, government, spirituality, prophecy, and more. Can people time travel? Is telepathy real? Want to see a picture of a real alien space girl holding a laser pistol? Check out this book!

So you say it's not so and Billy's a fake? Don't buy it. This book is for open minded (ordinary, average) people reaching for the stars -- not the UFO know it all or the New Age follower. Use your own mind and decide for yourself.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome...., March 18, 2003

I read this big book twice and Im amazed at the information given on subjects, OTHER than UFO stuff. Everyone always talked about Billy and UFO's and this book has a fair share of it, but what it really does is give you an in depth look at where humans came from, how the solar system has changed over millions of years, religion and its brainwashing, spirituality as I've never heard before and many more topics... In the book he even gives future predictions of what will happen if we don't wake up as humans and talks about predictions that he predicted many years ago that already came true... This is a truly amazing piece of information..

5.0 out of 5 stars I'm convinced, January 3, 2002

This review is from: And Yet... They Fly! (Paperback)
I've been interested to the Billy Meier case for a couple of years, but I've always been a bit sceptical. After reading this book I'm now pretty much convinced that the case is true and Mr. Meier really is the prophet of the New Age. Although the book isn't written from an objective point of view, Moosbrugger himself being a believer, it's very honest (also including criticism) and seemingly written by and about people who sincerely believe in their cause. And Yet... They Fly! is a fascinating book that covers every aspect worth mentioning regarding the contacts while also being enjoyable to read. Get this or be left out of something extraordinary.

5.0 out of 5 stars And Yet it's True ..., November 1, 2001
This review is from: And Yet... They Fly! (Paperback)
The Author comes from the field of education in his native Austria .He started his association with Billy Meier as a skeptic , a tough customer , to be sure . He was bound and determined to get to the bottom of what was mounting to the greatest UFO contact case in history .After staying on premises and watching Billy's every move , seeing the ships for himself , and also witnessing events that could only be explained by the reality of the ET's presence on our world , he became one of Billy's biggest supporters .Originally released in the German language , "And Yet They Fly" is an expanded and updated version now in English .You will discover much fascinating information that will definitely peak your interest.Fortunately , you can find even more information on the FIGU.org website .This is a wide and important subject that explains much about our history and true roots , something that we are lucky to have available in our current lifetime .None of the information in this book is theory ,and quite the contrary . The Pleiadians , who are actually Plejarens have dedicated a part of their lives for our benefit . We live in dangerous times , and knowing alot about us has led them to this Mission , which started a very long time ago .The sharp individual who becomes attracted to this work will realize just how much we have to learn as a civilization .
Congratulations - Mark Campbell

4.0 out of 5 stars Worth the read, November 7, 2002

This was a thorough book on the Billy Meier case. The only gripe I have is for the money there should have been a few more pictures. The only thing that would have convinced me more is if I had had a close encounter of my own.
