Wonderful collection of connected stories that highlight the author=s native Dominican Republic. I read it while I was camped in the rain on the slopes of Pico Duarte and I'll never forget that wonderful country.

Book is in good condition, it was Amazon Prime eligible so I didn't know it was used but whatever.My problem however is I receive the book and it still had an old price tag on it saying "CLEARANCE $1.00" How much did I pay? about $20. Just bugs me is all.
