Really enjoy this DVD, May 3, 2006
This review is from: Yoga in Bed (DVD)
If there is something that involves relaxing in bed, then I'm all for it. So when I saw this DVD, I wanted to try it.
The DVD is divided into two parts: morning poses and evening poses. There are about 15 poses for each part, making each part take from 15 to 20 minutes to complete.
I really like this DVD and the concept. It would have rated 5 stars except for 2 items. First, the pace of the DVD seemed rushed to me. You didn't have enough time to get into the pose, relax and breathe. The DVD moves quickly from one pose to another. You can overcome this by keeping your DVD remote close and pausing until you are ready to move to the next pose.
The next problem is that the camera view on some of the poses didn't show the moderator's entire body. If you have done yoga before, you can figure out what you are supposed to be doing in the pose, but if you are a yoga newcomer, you might need a little more information on the poses.
As for the DVD's strengths, they had a great variety of poses for you to try. They also have a section where you can go directly to certain poses, so if you don't want to do the entire morning or evening part, you can create your own routine by selecting certain poses.
Keep in mind that you will not become a yoga guru by using this DVD, but it is a nice, relaxing way to start or finish the day.
I received this DVD as a gift from my wish list, but after getting the DVD and using it a couple of times, I would still have purchased it for my own use.

Makes getting out of bed a daily delight, May 25, 2005
I've been curious about yoga for a long time--wanting to improve my flexibility, increase my energy, and relieve built-up tension in my back and shoulders--but I was intimidated by images of leg-behind-the-ear pretzel poses. This DVD got me past my fear of yoga. Set in a colorful and calming bedroom, the DVD offers twists and stretches with playful names (Coffee Cup Meditation, I'm a Little Teapot Stretch, Morning Juicer) that are easy but effective. Both sets of poses (10 in the morning and 10 in the evening) are narrated and demonstrated by a charming young lady over soothing, Eastern-style music. In only 10 to 15 minutes, I can reset my mood and tackle the day...or unwind at night before sinking under the covers. I highly recommend this DVD to anyone wanting to jump-start the day or get a good night's rest.

How great is this!!!, May 4, 2006
This review is from: Yoga in Bed (DVD)
I travel plenty for business and feel a bit uncomfortable getting on hotel floors to workout, not to mention I am usually too darn beat to get into a workout. YOGA IN BED is the greatest solution and I get to stay in bed a bit longer...always an extra bonus! The morning routine really get the juices flowing and is a great start to the day, the evening wind down really quiets the mind and brings blissful sleep! Pick this little gem up...you won't be sorry.
