When I first bought this book I wasn't sure what I'd get for 99 cents, but boy was I surprised. The author of this book really knows yoga! I am just at the stage where I was thinking of using yoga to lose weight and become more limber, but wasn't sure I would like it. This book tells you about all the different kinds of Yoga and the many health benefits of them. I was very surprised to learn you can actually burn 300 calories per hour while doing yoga! Yoga for Beginners: An Introductions, is just that....A great introduction to everything you want to know about yoga.

This book is not full of Yoga exercises, but there are a few in there for you to try and see if Yoga is for you. After reading this book you will at least understand the meaning of yoga, and why we need it. I enjoyed the book, and especially enjoyed the price!

This book is a nice overview to get to know the different aspects of yoga, the different forms,... It is an introduction, a good one, nothing more, nothing less.
