1.0 out of 5 stars poor video
Even if you are yoga beginners do not buy this DVD. Bad quality, bad routines, NO sense because you have to smile in every routine. Do not waste your money on this DVD. Dunring one of the routines Mrs. Suzanne Andrews felt down and you can see the lack of concentration during the whole video. I ordered this DVD by mistake and by the end I was glad it was like that,...

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth Every Penny!, April 17, 2008
This review is from: Yoga Chi For Energy (DVD)
This DVD is excellent for increasing your energy and toning up your whole body. I found it really helps to decrease back pain too. I really like the bonus section that has unguided exercises. Suzanne Andrews demonstrates the bonus exercises by a scenic waterfall to tasteful music and you just follow along. After I got comfortable to do the exercises without instruction, I did this part and it's only 11 minutes. 11 minutes a day is a great investment to increase your energy and improve your back. My wife is a rehab director and she commented how these exercises are well constructed, safe and that therapists use some of them in therapy. I read that Suzanne Andrews is a therapy pratitioner, so that makes sense. Give it a try, it's worth every penny!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great DVD, March 22, 2008
This review is from: Yoga Chi For Energy (DVD)
I injured my back in an auto accident and was healing slower than I thought I should even when following doctors orders and taking all the medicationas as prescribed. I had tried Suzanne's first dvd before the accident and was pleased to hear she had a new release. It was a bit painful at first but I kept at it and began to feel results after only a week. After only a couple weeks I was back to my old self and threw away my pain medication, didn't need it any more.

I recommend this dvd to anyone who is sick and tired of being sick and tired. Get up and just do it day after day and good things will happen.

5.0 out of 5 stars Most Beautiful Meditation Ever, June 17, 2009
This review is from: Yoga Chi For Energy (DVD)
Yoga Chi For EnergyI'm a personal trainer and have gotten some of Suzanne Andrews Functional Fitness DVD's because of her great ideas that I use on my clients. This DVD I got for me. Everybody has stress and Yoga Chi for Energy is a great way to relieve it. The meditation has the most beautiful nature scenes in it out of any stress releasing DVD I have ever seen. She is also exceptional with her breathing instruction.

5.0 out of 5 stars Boosts Energy!, July 4, 2008
This review is from: Yoga Chi For Energy (DVD)
This DVD has an enjoyable combination of yoga exercises with a tai chi style of flowing movement. I used to come home exhausted but after doing this DVD for a couple weeks, I have more energy to do things with my family. You don't have to be superfit to do this either, but it definately is a good workout.

I love stretching and have always found it relaxing. My husband on the other had has to work at his flexibility. My daughter is young and still carefree. But understanding and applying yoga techniques to maximize your body's energy is absolutely critical regardless of age, background or current ability.

I'm new to yoga and this DVD seems to be an easy start. Suzanne takes time so that it's not difficult to follow her. I'm very comfortable with learning with her.

5.0 out of 5 stars Suzanne Andrews video is a must!!!, April 2, 2009

This dvd is awesome. She shows you how to do exercises that relieve stress and loosen joints (my major problem). She guides you through the routine, you don't have to feel anxious wondering if you can keep up because she moves at a nice pace. Most importantly she shows you how to "safely" follow a routine which is most important to prevent injury. Whether you are just starting out and want a little exercise or you are very athletic this dvd will be one of your top watches. You need to buy it and buy one for your cousin for Christmas too, you will enjoy this!

I bought this DVD to get more energy. What I didn't expect was that I'd also get stress relief, relaxing music and a beautiful meditation. I'm a mother of 2 children and really enjoy the time with this DVD. Suzanne Andrews goes at a comfortable pace, and I got a good workout without feeling totally exhausted. Perfect yoga DVD for beginners.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful Yoga DVD, September 20, 2009
This review is from: Yoga Chi For Energy (DVD)
Yoga Chi For EnergyYoga Chi for EnergyI saw the instant download version and decided to purchase the hard copy. I love this DVD for it's beautiful lakeside setting, it's superb instruction and great workout. I'm a beginner and 50 years old so it was perfect. You don't realize you're working your muscles until the next day. I could feel like I had a great overall workout and the quality is excellent. I was sore the next day but not in agony and the soreness went away. I combined this with her Functioal Fitness Pain Free Back and Neck DVD and really enjoyed the variety. Another bonus I noticed was after doing the DVD I felt happier after doing the meditation by the very beautiful fireplace. It was truly mesmerizing! Suzanne has a way of making you feel really good about yourself and her instruction is passionate and personable.
