Format: Spiral-bound
A strength of this book is that it provides just about every conceivable yoga stretch both pictorially and linguistically.
The text is easy-to-read and the yoga stances can be gleaned easily from the pictures set forth. Classic depictions are
the Hare involving the flow of blood to the brain, bow,
standing,bending and the cross-legged fish. Squats are depicted for ease of imitation. The mermaid stance is shown for yoga
buffs. The directory would be very helpful for beginning and intermediary yoga students/enthusaists. It is a solid value for the price charged.

Format: Spiral-bound
i found this book at barnes and noble for less than 10 bucks. it has great pictures of dozens and dozens of poses. i'm just developing an interest in yoga and this book is one that i can use now as a beginner and at the same time it will grow with me as i improve. it has six different routines that get progressively more challenging which is exactly what i was looking for. i've rented books from the library on different yoga poses but the more i studied these types of books the more overwhelmed i became. what i really needed was some routines to get me started. so i was very excited when i stumbled across the yoga directory. if you're new to yoga, i say go for it. it's even cheaper on amazon. you won't be sorry.

Great book, I bought it because of the binding. I use it every morning. I open it flip through the pages it's perfect for me. It stays open because of the binding.
