I have over 10 yoga videos and this is my favorite. It is a strong, well explained workout accompanied by a beautiful spiritual narrative. I first discoverd this tape after a long illness and used it to regain physical strength as well as an introduction to meditation. It is now my favorite workout for when I miss class or fall off the path for a while. It should receive 10 stars! I was searching amazon for more John Friend tapes and decided to share my exprience with others - hope this helps.

You can't learn yoga from a tape, but this comes the closest of any tape to being in a studio with a warm and caring master teacher. John Friend stresses the inner experience of yoga. Yoga for Meditators is beautiful in conception, execution, music, setting, and narration.

I lucked out - this was the first Yoga video I bought. I loved it from the start. John has a gift for explaining the postures, a warm personality, & just the right touch of the "spiritual."

Try it; you'll like it.
