We received this as a gift. My children are 6, 4, and 2.5--and they all LOVE it! One of my children is high-functioning autistic (and sensory processing disorder) and he not only is able to follow along--he now SEEKS doing this yoga video! Many times when he's been overwhelmed/overstimulated he's asked to do this video. He'll even do moves/actions/words from the video (without watching it at the same time) now to help him calm down (and he's initiating this himself 80% of the time--which is amazing for him to be seeking ways to calm himself without being cued). It's a great tool for me, as a mom, for when I see him getting overwhelmed, I can cue him to do "star fish pose" or "happy baby" or to show me "downward facing dog--and let me hear you howl!"

It's a great tool in my bag of "tricks" to help ALL of my children. The end of the video has great calming poses that are great to add to bedtime routines--especially those days that are chaotic and the kids need more settling--this has been INCREDIBLY helpful!

I love that there is the option to do it all at one time--or that you can do it "chapter-by-chapter." The icons separating the chapters are cute and the kids readily identify them (and specify which chapters they want to do).

It's very engaging and easy for the kids to follow along! I love that it's ONE person to follow--there are no distractions, it's not over-stimulating, yet it still captures their attention! I highly recommend it!

My kids love this DVD! I have 5 year old twin boys and an 8 year old daughter and they love this yoga DVD. I love how the video can be viewed in segments or in it's entirety. My kids have completed the whole DVD a few times, but with our busy schedule it gives us a lot of flexibility with how much time we want to commit. My kids often do 2-3 segments (10-15 min) in the morning. I find it a great way to wake up my kids and get their bodies moving for the day.

This DVD is pretty boring. On the cover all you see is kids doing the poses. There were NO kids in the sections we watched. The DVD is a lone woman doing the poses and making animal sounds. She was not even able to hold my attention, much less my 3 year old grandson's. I don't know how it got so many positive reviews. I was a teacher and school counselor for 30 years and know that kids like to watch DVDs that allow them to follow other kids. I've seen countless DVDs that kids LOVED! This would not be one of them.

As a Children's Yoga Teacher/Studio Owner, Classroom Teacher and mother to two young boys, I whole-heartedly recommend this DVD! I love the distraction free background and Lindsay is a great yoga guide. My boys often request to watch and do Yoga Motion and I know they are not just "watching TV". Also, great for the classroom, as you can play a short yoga flow in between subjects, at Morning Meeting, or when you have a few minutes to fill. A great addition to your DVD library!

This DVD is very well done and is very easy to follow. My 18 month old daughter hands me this DVD and wants to see it almost as often as her disney movies! She only does a couple of poses, but loves to watch it and seems to catch onto something new each time. So I'm sure as she reaches the recommended age of 2.5, she'll be able to interact with the whole thing. So even if your child is a little younger, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this...As a mom, it's a fun thing for me to do as well to get a little yoga in, while involving my little one in the process and making fun animal sounds with each pose.

I purchased this DVD for my 6year old daughter and I to do together. My 4 year old son has joined in and loves it as well. This is exactly what I was looking for...kid friendly yoga poses with wonderful positive messages for my daughter. Being able to chant I am strong I am capable while doing warrior pose is such a great message for children. And, it's fun, too. They love flying to Thailand and Africa on their airplane during airplane pose! I personally love doing yoga with the instructor Lindsay as well. She is fabulous! Everyone should have this DVD. Can't wait for the next one!

My 3 yr old loves this DVD! From the moment we played the first segment she was totally engaged and excited to try the yoga poses. She had a huge smile on her face while watching the video and kept saying "look Mommy! I'm doing a tree" while she was doing the tree pose. The pacing of this DVD is perfect for little one's attention span and I can pick and choose which routine I would like her to do depending on her mood and time of day. We have so much fun doing the yoga poses together and she loves the 1-1 time we spend together doing it. I was also very impressed with the positive and encouraging energy of the yoga instructor. Even I started to relax while watching the DVD with my daughter. I highly recommend this DVD and I am planning on purchasing a few more for Christmas presents.

My two year old loved watching an old yoga dvd I had. She accidentally snapped it so I bought this one, based on reviews. I like that there aren't any distractions in the background, but that's about it. The menu is slow to respond. The instructor goes through each pose in a very short time. My daughter barely makes it into one pose before she has to move onto the next. So, perhaps this dvd isn't for her. The fact that the leader seems to speed through everything is the feature we like the least. She also has a very high pitched, fast paced voice but it lacks sincerity. I think this would be better if the leader were with actual children, spoke more calmly and slowed down. My daughter barely pays attention to this.
