5.0 out of 5 stars Great program!, May 30, 2008
This has been an excellent program for improving my balance and muscle tone. The DVD contains three programs: a 30-minute program to perform whenever, a 15-program to perform right before riding, and a mounted program. I do the 30-minute program on Sundays and the 15-minute program on Thursdays. Both my seat and my riding have improved.

I recommend this DVD to anyone who wants to be a fitter equestrian--both mentally and physically. The instructions are clear and the exercises are fun. This DVD will be a well-used one.

4.0 out of 5 stars It Really Works!, May 18, 2004
By A Customer
In this volume, Linda Benedik has put together a clear, easy-to-follow video summary of her very valuable Yoga for Equestrians clinics. All the exercises are well explained and easy for any rider to do. Practicing the techniques has deepened my seat, softened my hands, and increased my confidence. My horse is listening to my aids and has become softer as well. The only negative comment I can make is that I wanted more lessons included on the video! I highly recommend this - it really works!

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent video, July 29, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is an excellent video for beginners to yoga who also ride. It deals mostly with postures on the ground. It does help and if riders need assistance in learning to relax on horseback, this is video is very helpful.

My reason for the 4 stars instead of 5, is that I wanted to see more work on horseback than was offered.

I have the companion book Yoga for Equestrians: A New Path for Achieving Union with the Horse, and recommend it for more in-depth reading on the topic.
