The Yoga of Work Rick Jarow

Why do you work? What motivates you? Should we be searching for our "true calling," or should work just be a way to pay our bills? Outside of our cultural perspective, these questions have many answers. On The Yoga of Work, Dr. Rick Jarow, the founder of the national anti-career workshops, looks to eight other world cultures for insights into putting your values, skills, and spirit to work for the things you believe in most. With special meditations, you will learn to open to the meaningful work you are supposed to do, where you are supposed to do it. With this destination, teaches Dr. Jarow, comes the inner freedom that is the true heart of right livelihood. Includes teachings and practices about work and spirit from India, Native America, China, Africa, and other regions of the world.

"The Yoga of Work" is excellent for anyone who is questioning their purpose in life, or searching for their destiny. The purpose of this book-on-tape is to teach you not to settle for just a job - but to find your "dharma", or lifes purpose, in which you will be happy.

The guided meditations in this tape are wonderful, and I suggest finding a quiet place to do the meditations. They really help to make the chapter very personal.

The tape also has real-life stories about people who searched for their destiny, and did not settle for just a job. I found these very inspiring.

All in all, a great tape with very useful information for anyone going through a change in their life or career.
