The author was able to use these techniques to gain vision in his eyes, but his recommendations are not practical for most people. If you add up the time for all of the daily exercises, it is nearly 9 hours a day.

Just the notion thatthe eyes should be treated with the body - nurtured, exercised and relaxed - makes a lot of sense to me. They are working constantly and have very little time "off duty." I've not spent hours on the exercises daily, but I have always felt better any time I've taken the time to do any of them. I am not sure about vision improvement, as this is difficult to gauge, since I wear glasses and can't really exercise to the point that I don't need them anymore.

There's been so many studies about the therapeutic benefits of yoga for the body; why not for the eyes as well?
