How Does it Work?
The Gatekeeper Pico Pro is a USB key-sized mini-computer whose sole function is to run Yoggie’s "Pentagon Level" security suite, a 13 point protection system designed to replace all of your existing security software.
In addition to protection from viruses, the Gatekeeper Pico Pro weeds out spam, protects against phishing and spoofing, blocks spyware and offers intrusion detection and prevention. It includes a firewall as well as web filtering and transparent email and web proxies. Its proprietary, patent-pending Layer-8 Security Engine protects the user from unknown attacks, new viruses, spyware and worms, and does not require virus signatures. Yoggie’s patent-pending Multi-Layer Security Agent coordinates between the different security components to provide early detection of new attacks as they begin their operation. Its patent-pending Adaptive Security Policy dynamically matches threats with the appropriate security level in real time, keeping the laptop secure under any condition.
With Gatekeeper Pico Pro you can connect to any unsecured hotspot knowing that you are completely protected. It hides your laptop’s IP Address and creates a physical barrier from incoming threats, protecting the laptop from unknown attacks by dropping the connection as threats are identified.
Gatekeeper Pico Pro includes a web-based management console which provides status information, security logs, and reports and can be used to configure device settings, network settings and security policy.

First the delivery was efficient and quick, so 5* to the supplier.
I was looking forward to installing this product and removing the virus checking software from my PC, unfortunately having read the small print I notice the device does not scan IMAP traffic and leaves my laptop open to inbound email viruses, these once passed yoggie are free to reak havoc. Today I think it has a wide open side door next to the main gate and is not a single solution in a box. Yes I could stop using IMAP, however it fits my way of life, I could also stop downloading email :-) In use it appears to tag email downloaded via pop at times tagging incorrectly and I have as yet found no way to prevent this, the user interface being very basic with limited email filtering options. Frequent blocking of web sites without reason has resulted in my disabling this feature The unit has a habit of hanging when left connected for long periods, i.e. over night. Today I can't say its a solution you should rush out and buy, but I think its getting some way towards it and would work fine for a user with little computer knowledge looking for a safe solution.

Never worked and it would make my internet connection slow and go on and off. I thought the item would be a great thing dealing with the IT, but not recommended to ANYONE!
