Produced by Joseph barbera in 1994, this is still a pretty bland cartoon in the mold of much oh Hanna Barbera's studios work from the 1960's. While Yog and other HB characters certainly had their legions of fans I personally always found them lacking in quality compared to say Warner Bros. or MGM cartoons. I suppose for the little ones that this is a pretty decent, hour-long special, especially if they watch it around Easter time although I don't know that most young kids today really know who Yogi Bear is.

Yogi Bear accidentally ruins the big Easter Jamboree at Jellystone Park just before the arrival of hundreds of kids. Guilt-stricken, Yogi and Boo Boo go in search of the Easter Bunny to try and save the event. But the two discover that the Easter Bunny has been kidnapped! Yogi and Boo Boo must rescue the Easter Bunny and save Easter, before the kids arrive for the Jamboree and before Mister Ranger ships them off to the Siberian Circus.

It's ok. No classic but real little ones might enjoy it.

This is a great TV special that deserves to see the light of day on DVD. It is funny and it shows Yogi and Boo Boo at their best. It earned all kinds of awards when it first aired on Cartoon Network and deservedly so. I highly recommend it to everyone.

There is a much better reason to purchase this DVD if you are a Yogi Bear or Hanna-Barbera fan, though. Warner Home Video could be using this DVD as a test product to see if there is interest in releasing more Yogi Bear on DVD. I don't know this for a fact, but it makes sense. It is important that all Yogi fans support this release with a purchase to help see more classic H-B cartoons come to DVD.

This is an entertaining special in itself and it deserves a place on your DVD shelf. I also recommend buying it to help see more Hanna-Barbera classic cartoons come to DVD as well. This releae has a double-sided implication to it that cannot be ignored. Please buy it.

A very cute film and one that brings back memories of when cartoons were simple and FAMILY worthy entertainment.

We bought this for the kid, thinking it would be a fun holiday special with a classic character. We didn't realize it was made as recently as it was, and as such, it lacked some of the nostalgia for us. It seemed to have more zip and lack the same innocence the old Yogi cartoons had. More importantly, though, it didn't really hold our son's interest. About 10 minutes into it he was more interested in going to play with toys in the other room.

If you're a Yogi die hard, and a fan of the new movie, this may be up your alley. If you're looking for the older style nostalgic type show, pass on this and go to something like The Easter Bunny is Coming to Town, or Here Comes Peter Cottontail.

I got this for myself during the Christmas holiday, I couldn't wait until Easter, I just had to get this earlier than that. It's really funny to see Yogi and Boo-boo try to help the easter bunny get out of the trouble that he was in! I really enjoy seeing this movie, me and my parents love seeing it together.

I can't believe I finally found a Yogi video. It was perfect! Can't wait for more Yogi and BooBoo.

We have decided not to let our kids watch this video anymore. There are phrases like "shut up" and other inappropriate words and actions.
