This review is from: Yogurt: More than 70 Delicious & Healthy Recipes (Paperback)
This book has many very good recipes in it. I have not made any yet, I just received the book about 2 days ago. I like working with yogurt, mostly Greek Yogurt. I have a small Greek Yogurt strainer, and use the yogurt from that to make many of my recipes. I also have a regular yogurt maker that makes regular, cheese, and greek yogurt. Can you tell I work with yogurt alot. I use the whey in place of all of the liquids asked for in my recipes, do not throw away the whey. Do you know how much protein is in it? It also helps you lose weight. Go to the health food store and look at all the body building powder products on the shelf, they have whey in them!. If I do get too much whey, I simply take the gallon double zipper bag and flatten it out, put it on a tray where I put my ice cubes ,and freeze it flat for easy storage. Other people put the whey right in the ice cube trays and then put in freezer bags, they will not fit in the freezer as well. The book again, looks like just what I wanted. Price is right and reviews were good.
Sincerely, SuperchefDavid |
