I got these for my 12 year old son's birthday. He is already an accomplished juggler. One of the balls does not always stay lit and even when it does it is dimmer than the others...perhaps a weak battery, or poor connection? The effect is so really cool looking with the lights out that everyone at my son's party couldn't take their eyes off the show!

These balls are pure magic! I haven't juggled for years and got these to re-inspire me to get back into juggling. Now I can't wait to juggle again, especially at night when the effect of these balls is so dramatic. They are a good weight for juggling and the colors are unbelievable. My record without dropping a ball is 1,525 complete rotations. It's going to take awhile but I'm going to beat my record! But it will be a lot more fun this time because I can juggle these awesome illuminated balls.

NOTES: I like that you can cycle through three different light sequences. One is to leave the ball in any color you want. Another is to have the ball flicker. And the third is to have the ball sequence through all the different colors. When juggling with the balls in each of these three scenarios gives a different effect. The balls themselves have a nice feel to them. They aren't a hard plastic which wouldn't be good tactilely. The finish on the balls is slightly pliable yet sturdy. They are a joy to juggle, pure magic...

These were purchased for my granddaughter for Christmas. She loved them, the changing colors, being able to vary the colors and also the rainbow effect.

She took them with her to the family Christmas gathering and had a great time, juggling herself and sharing so that some of the others also got a chance to show off their skills.

This is the first impression and I must say a very good one. The size and weight of the balls seems to be great.

Upon opening the package it was discovered that one of the juggling balls was defective and didn't work. I didn't want to return them as Amazon directed but wanted a replacement ball (since I would have to pay shipping on a new order). Although the supplier couldn't help me they did in turn give me information to contact the distributor. The distributor had one set of this discontinued item and sent me a replacement ball. I had wished that Amazon's solution would have been to offer shipping the item back with a replacement one sent free of charge. It took a little work, but I got what I wanted ... 3 working juggling balls. Guess I'm persistent. I only hope that these balls don't have issues in the future hence my reservation in critiquing their durability.
