If you are just beginning to play badminton, you may want to pick up a different racquet. If you have played for atleast a week regularly, I suggest this one. It is relatively lighter than the regular racquets by a margin, but the real play comes into picture when you keep playing continuously.
With regular racquets, you might be able to play for 30 minutes without a break, using this you can extend it by 10 minutes. My wrists are not strained any more,

If you are a beginner, I recommend [...] - You may want to start with a normal racquet before you play with this.

This racquet is NOT for beginners.

Very happy with this purchase. It's light yet steady. My husband and I now can enjoy this game
much more because of the quality of the bat. Love it!

Had a blast playing with this one. Good tight/firm weave and a good solid feel.

Really bad in quality from its weight and to the tension of its string. Would not recommend to any intermediate players and above. The racket turns out to be blue in color and has t shape bracket in the middle(the symbol of weakness in the shaft of the racket which is why they need a the bracket in the first place). Due to its heavy weight and weak frame every shot drains your energy or produces a weak return. Disappointed in the racket and how deceiving athlete 101 markets their products with fake pictures and no detailed information about the racket with an appealing price which is really clear now why they would do this.

As a beginner of badminton player, I bought it for my weekly practice. But I was not sure about the quality after receiving it. It was sturdy, but not strong enough to smash for me. Maybe the string tension was poor. Anyways, I now only use it to play for fun. But I don't think the quality is good enough.

This is the second racquet like this I have bought an I have had no issues other than my string breaking. Luckily there happened to be a tournament in town and I was able to have those guys do it.

The overall body is a little too heavy for me; seems like it won't be a good choice for beginners.
Don't get it if you're a beginner; still A LOT better than a cheap $10 no-name racquet though (in which case I'll just get this anyway).
I recommend this for intermediate-and-above players.
It will be a really good fit for powerful smashes, but you'll lose some degree of control b/c of the racquet's weight.
Grip is good, string is good (tension seems about right for power shots).
Only thing that lacks is no case; only the cover covering the head comes with it.

So i usually played with the beginner rackets you got in the starter kits with some birdies and what not. My friends have gotten ones like this one, but other brands. I gotta say, this one is awesome.

Lighter then some of my friends rackets, if anyone cares about that fact. I don't mind, as long as it's not 20 pounds. The string is tight and hits well. I ordered it with regular shipping and it came in two days. Maybe it's where i live but most stuff i buy on Amazon comes rather quickly. Also a few of my friends have a yonex and they like theirs too, though i don't think it's this exact model.

The only thing is mine is orange and black, not yellow. I mean, i don't care, and color doesn't mean anything really, but it's not that big of a set back. Other then that i'm really happy with the racket. My High school does a competition every year and benefits go to charity and what not. Glad i have this racket for the tournament!!

I don't know if it's professional, but i'm glad i got a really nice one for 16 bucks (Plus shipping) Enjoy it.

I'm a beginner badminton player, so I'll review as well as I can with my current knowledge of badminton.
The racket's light for me, the grip's slightly comfy, the string's pretty decent.

I think this is an excellent racket for a rookie to a beginner, and maybe an intermediate player.

As for durability, my friend has had her racket (of this very model) for our 4 years and it's still stable and sturdy.

I have got a lot of use out of this racket in a short period of time. It has held up well and is a very solid racket. It has a nice grip and a nice sweet spot in the center. If I had any complaints is that the top part of the racket lacks a little spring and don't get full power for shots it seems. Every thing else if very nice, its light, came with a cover, and is very strong.
