All the adults I know really love this toy, as well as the kids. The music the snail plays is funky and cool and the attachments are really fun, and engaging for the little ones. I'm surprised that it's not as popular as other toys. We rent toys from babyplays dot com and this is one they sent us. We're planning on buying it instead of sending it back.

This is a really fun toy. Your little one will like watching it as soon as they start spending time on the floor. It comes with two shells. One is a little stacker with 5 pieces that my 18 month old still likes playing with. And this toy is durable. My little one keeps trying to ride the snail and it's still going.

The Yookidoo Crawl N' Go Snail is one of my 6-month-old daughter's favorite toys. I love that it's two toys in one. The design is adorable, and the rolling snail is great incentive for our baby to practice her crawling chops, as she often tries to chase down the toy. When I disassemble the shell for her, she will gum the attractive, teether-like rings for 5 or 10 minutes at a sitting. The rings are easy to wash; I just use dish soap and a non-abrasive scrubber. The whimsical, cute tune it plays as it rolls across the floor is a step above the usual kiddie music, and is easy on the ears even with repeated play.

I love the Yookidoo Crawl N' Go Snail too, because sometimes all you need is just 20 or 30 seconds to wash your hands or put something away, and this will keep my daughter occupied just long enough to do that! I also appreciate that it came with batteries installed.

Re some of the complaints: We have had the toy for about two months now, and the included batteries still work, even with daily play. One of the amazon photos IS misleading, as the toy only came with the shell with rings. We have (low pile) rugs and hardwood floors and the rolling mechanism works on both, for us.

This is a great toy, and I anticipate my daughter will get lots of continued use out of it as her motor skills develop and she can appreciate the stacking element even more. Everyone who sees our Crawl N' Go Snail comments on how cute it is, and another 6 month old who came over for a playdate was equally entranced.

Good toy. I would give it a 5 star if it's teething friendly (especially the rings, they are made of hard plastic too). Also, if the plastic is PVC and BPA free (it doesn't say that on the box), I'd give it an A+ and buy it for each of my friends and family members with babies. ^_^ Other than that, a cute toy with fine design.

My daughter received this as a gift. It's a great toy--even my older nephews loved playing with it! But it stopped working about 3 days after we received it. I replaced the batteries and it worked again for about a day. I think the construction of the motor is just poor. My daughter still plays with the other parts of the toy, but she is crawling now and likes to chase her toys that go and she can't do that with this one.

Our little guy really likes this toy. It doesn't move great on carpet. The stacker part has to be on it or it won't move at all on carpet.

Our little guy (now 8.5 months, bought when he was 6 months) chased it a few times when we first got it but his preferred method of play is to turn it on and to hold onto the wheels and laugh as it vibrates his hand. I'm sure it will break soon as he's probably stripping the gears inside but it keeps him entertained so that's the point. He also likes to knock it onto its side and watch the wheels spin. He isn't big enough yet to really play with the stacker as a stacker but he likes banging on it to make the center rattle part spin.

I liked the idea of this toy, but my less than 1-year-old twins broke it quickly and easily. They were able to bend the wheels somehow, and now it doesn't roll properly and the wheel no longer fits on top. I'd get something sturdier next time.

I bought this toy for my 7 month old twins for Christmas. While it has a cute design and they really are attracted to it; it does not have a power off button nor will it stop activating itself when my baby is holding it and putting it in her mouth which leaves the wheels grinding on her skin and clothes. Unfortunately I guess I will have to remove the batteries so at least they can hold it and play with it that way. Definitely takes away the purpose of my choosing it which was to encourage crawling after it. It will also be heavy to just be an inanimate toy but I don't see what choice I have to stop it from attacking her when it won't shut off.

Amazing toy. Liek others I am also Surprise it is not as popular. Baby loves it! The snail has cool music and my baby loves to watch it move. Highly Recommended.

I bought this toy for my 4 1/2 month grandson and when he first saw it his eyes lit up and he got all excited. His Mom says it is his favorite toy. I love the bright colors and it plays a catchy tune that isn't too loud. When he gets a little older he can take apart the stacking wheel and use it as a stacking toy. Grandma was a hit with this toy.
