5.0 out of 5 stars Now More Than Ever..., December 22, 2001
This review is from: New York City 2002 Wall Calendar (Calendar)
I love New York. And this calendar, which shows the Big Apple in all its splendor, is a keepsake. Rather than making me sad, the proud pictures of the Twin Towers remind me of everything that is best about this exciting city. In honor of all our brave heroes, I cherish these pictures of New York City unbowed, unbroken, and beautiful--as she is still, and as she will be always. This calendar is inspiring and beautiful, and makes me proud to be an American. It's a meaningful keepsake for just about anyone.

4.0 out of 5 stars A monthly look at a great city, January 29, 2002
By
This review is from: New York City 2002 Wall Calendar (Calendar)
The calender is large, and the date area is clean and airy, but I wish that the events font was a little bigger, so it would be easier to read them at a distance. My favorite page is January, and it shows part of Times Square covered in snow as I remembered it when I lived in New York City. All of my friends stop to look at it when they visit my desk. The other month images are average (at least for a New Yorker like me), but the photos are well placed. The Twin Towers appear only twice, not counting the overall sky view in one of the months, so the calendar is well balanced in the images of the City. I would only add more images of the other boroughs, such as Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, and Staten Island, instead of just Manhattan. But having just twelve pages to show such a large city is a limit that I accept, and the calendar does it well.
