Editorial Reviews

"It is written in a colourful way, giving a real picture of the sights and sounds that would greet one in New York. The themes covered range from slavery, immigration, sweatshops, street gangs, wildlife in Central Park and the terrorist attacks of 9/11, to name a few. The reader is introduced to many characters, some famous and others unsung heroes who quietly trusted God and tried to make a difference in the lives of others. The challenge is made to the reader to reach others with the good news of Jesus too. The best praise for this book comes from my eight-year-old, who said: 'I think it's a very good book and it's always pointing to Jesus'." ~ Evangelicals Now

One of the most fun things for me as a writer is seeing my books take kids out of their ordinary world for a few hours. Maybe they will come back slightly changed. That's what keeps me getting up in the morning, sitting at my desk for the hard slog of writing a book. I love hearing from my readers, at
