valuable reference
Eyewitness guides are the best. The area by area highlights and maps have never failed to exceed expectations. The restaurant suggestions and attraction suggestions are always good.

Nothing to write home about, but a quick, fun read about NYC
I wasn't quite impressed with the information - they're all stuff you can find online or in all the other NYC travel books. The photos and snippets of accompanying information were fun to browse through on my flight to NYC. It was enough to give me an idea of the main things I wanted to do during my travel there (I used the internet for in-depth info about the main things...

Great book with up-to-date information and pictures about NYC. Has relevant information about food, sights, accommodation, travel etc. Love the suggested walking tours. Generally speaking this range of travel books is good. I've used them before for other destinations, and that is why I bought this one about NYC.
